I ll tell you why I cant stand Lebron.
People talk about him like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. He is good but plenty have been better. Magic, Jordan, Bird, Malone and those are some that are just recent. Kobe doesnt get as much talk and he has had a better career. I dont like ringers that play at prep schools that get gift grades and drive around in a Hummer he couldnt afford at the time. Then there is his salary which the owner should be putting money into the economy not Lebrons pocket. Then there was the way he announced going to Miami,that was annoying as well. He has done nothing great in my book and to say he will be one of the best is BS and shows you dont remember how good players of the past were. Being sick of hype around a guy who one 1 championship call it what you want but I say Fuck the Heat. That will be his one and only one. So fuck off to anyone thinking Lebron is a great guy when its people like him that do more damage than good to this country. He can put a ball in a hoop big fucking deal. The salaries that pro athletes get is bullshit and the owners and the players like Lebron should be doing something better with that money. Miami as a city is not better for having Lebron play there the economy has actually gotten worse just like Cleveland. when the job applicant to job opening ratio is 8 to 1 for even the worst of jobs and people let there pets loose because they cant afford to feed them I would say that is plenty reason to Hate Lebron and the Heat just like Cleveland. Next time you are even in the suburbs of Miami remember to keep a look out for the packs of wild dogs, the problem is considered a growing epidemic. and you know why these places get worse with guys like him? because the owner puts too much money in Lebrons pocket and Lebron keeps it there, and when he wants more and he will he will put no pressure on the Heat owner or any other owner to use the money they are wasting on salaries to open businesses and pay people a livable wage.
Yes I hate Lebron on and off the court.The NBA is fixed and the Heat championship was a gift from Stern to the Heat owner for having a team in a shitty economy. The flagrant foul call that was clearly not flagrant put the game away. every game had game changing bad calls that favored the Heat. even more reason to hate the Heat and Lebron.

In another fixed sport Pacquia won his review but will not get credit for the win or his belt back. So they are saying yes he won but you cant reverse a decision, all bets are final you got screwed, if you bet Pacquia too bad now pay for the rematch and bet again. Everyone will bet Pacquia again and it will end the same way.

I will weigh in on the LeBron issue. I never had a problem with him until the whole "decision" deal went down. But my hate became official when they had their preseason party. At that point I was a card carrying member of the LeBron haters Club. The Lakers were the 2 time defending Champs at the time and like all Laker fans I felt dissed by the whole Championship counting thing. So I relished last year when Dallas beat Miami. This year I still was rooting against the Heat even when they played the hated Celtics I rooted against the Heat.
Let me say this I am a compassionate man and I noticed a definite change in LeBron. He appeared more humble, and truly seemed like a changed man. One strong indicator for me was back in the Boston series when the Heat won Game 6 and they were waiting for LeBron to come do interviews. He stayed in the locker room to read a book. That said a lot to me. The man has found peace within himself and is secure now. He has admitted the mistakes of his past and recognizes he didn't handle things very well. He takes a strong man to admit publically in front of millions that he was wrong and has learned from his mistakes. I will take that as an apology. So in closing I tip my hat to LeBron and the Heat. I admire anyone who can overcome the amount of pressure put on them and still accomplish the goal. I will put away my LeBron haters card officially now. He has his ring. He was classy about it and I will salute him for his growth. Now it's time to move on and get the Lakers straight so we can bring the banner back to LA.

I didn't know until last night that Spoelstra is from Portland, Oregon. He grew up here. His Dad was a regular at Trailblazer games where he would take Spoelstra and that's where he learned the game of basketball. Apparently they were hard core Blazer fans like most of Portland except for us California transplants.
Also I'm happy for Pat Riley the great former Laker Coach. I was at the Parade when Riley famously guaranteed to three-peat back in the 80's. I remember when he said it. I was like "Oh no he didn't say that" but he did and that was probably the toughest year for the Lakers to do it but they did it any way. I was waiting for him to do again last night and Stewart Scott tossed it up there for him to do it. But Riley learned his lesson from 20+ years ago and didn't take the bait. But he did put a spin on it saying the great ones win multiple Titles. Riley is the ultimate psychologist like Phil Jackson. Riley is hard core his workouts from what I hear were brutal.

I have been developing a new system for baseball. It's a little more complicated than my normal analysis but I'm going to start tracking it to see how it works. The system picks for today are Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland. Let's see how this works. In the interest of full disclosure I'm not wagering on these yet but I did put my Survivor pick on Cleveland because the data was so strong on them.

This is tough game with some intangibles that you have to consider. On paper this looks like a slam dunk for the D-Backs. But here are the other factors. I don't know if you have ever been to Phoenix. I have spent extensive time in AZ and I can tell you there are tons of Chicago people in the desert. This is like a home game for the Cubs. Hence the Cubs usually do well in Phoenix. With the crowd behind them the Cubs seem to put a little more intensity into the game than normal. Add in the fact that Saunders is 0-2 against the Cubs and I would say that this either a game to stay away from or take the Cubs. But I certainly wouldn't put money on it.

I meant no disrespect to anyone but I had enough of hearing about Lebron and being the best and being made to feel like Im a hating piece of shit for thinking otherwise. All the Lebron hype is just ridiculous. The refs clearly forced the Thunder to play differently. Like all pro sports you adjust to what they call and the foul calls took away the aggressive play of the Thunder and no one will convince me that this Heat team could beat teams like Magic's Lakers or Jordans Bulls or the Celtics with Russell or Bird. The only thing I like about Lebron are the sports illustrated for kids rookie cards I have.
okay Im done ranting. really pissed about SFTC this month as well I might need a rant to get that out of my system as well.

There's alot of chatter about this guy but that always seems to happen when someone takes the stash. A couple of things stand out for me. The fact that he's brand new and did this, the fact that he was very aggressive in his picks when he got ahead. Most people stop but anyone can play aggressive. The other thing that really stands out is there appears to be at least 2 people who swear this guy didn't have a pick when a few games started only to come back and found out he won. Now most of the time this talk is just that...talk. I'm leaning towards that this time as well unless something more substantial comes out/. But I will say I find a couple of those things odd. We will have to wait and see. ESPN vetts the winners pretty thoroughly from what I hear.

what it tells me is the way to play SFTC is pick like a moron. the more stuff you look at the more you over think the picks. this is not the first young head moron to win. look at SFTC first than odds and other shit. know what you like there before you let any other BS cloud your judgment.

Booyahz, your entitled to your opinion. I was never a big nba fan and only watched it when i bet on it,lol. So i dont get to emotional over athletes and all the espn hype and bs they report. If atletes can get the money so be it. The decision was a bit silly and rubbed a lot the wrong way,but hey,it is what it is in this day and age. I got a kick out of it.

I'm not much of a system guy but Booyahz and a couple of others have shown me a few things or two so suddenly I'm looking at angles and systems. This system that i unveiled tonight is very impressive. 3-0 in the early going. The best part about it is that I would have picked the opposite on a couple of those games if i just went by my normal analysis. Let's see how this develops but it looks strong currently.
