BAY AREA BASH BROTHERS BASEBALL LEAGUE STR8BALLIN DOWNS CHAMPIONSHIP IN TOP TEAMS SHOWDOWN!
Str8ballin showed why they're starting to dominate the league with a decisive victory over top contender Championship. Str8ballin's R.A. Dickey led the victory with 12 K's and pitching a 1-hitter. Str8ballin has opened up a 7 game lead over the nearest team and is starting to run away in what was a very close race.

CALIFORNIA BEARS BEAT SHANKS 9-5!
The California Bears defeated the Shanks with a solid victory. Surprising Bears pitcher Lance Lynn led the team with 12 K's while throwing a shutout. Curtis Granderson and Michael Cuddyer each blasted 3 HR's in the runaway victory. The Bears are starting to make their move back up the standings at the right time.

HOMERUN KINGZ GIVE BLUE CRUSHERS THEIR 4TH BEATDOWN IN A ROW!
The Blue Crushers are feeling blue for sure now. They suffered their 4th drubbing in a row. This time to once league doormat Homerun Kingz who suddenly has gotten off the mat and is moving up in the standings. There was nothing really special from the Homerun Kingz just a solid game top to bottom. But it was enough to send the Crushers reeling and looking for answers. Homerun Kingz Ivan Nova did record 2 wins for the victory.

PATHETIC FIREBALLS GET SHUTOUT AGAIN 13-0 TO GREEN SMOKERS!
The Fireballs franchise is in a complete meltdown after suffering the indignity of a 2nd shutout this season. The Fireballs had never been shutout previous to this season, their 4th in the league. The Green Smokers who themselves were sick got healthy quick thanks to the Fireballs lackluster effort. The Fireballs now find themselves in last place as we enter the 2nd half of the season. GM Smoothd is said to be ready to cut half the team and fire the Manager but cooler heads have prevailed at Fireballs headquarters.
