Serious Streak Survivor Strategies

Not every game is available on Survivor. It's really Covers call. But thats a good thing. I live here in Portland and it can be a very tough place to play. I'm a Lakers fan and Portland is a house of horrors for the Lakers no matter how good they are. Even though Boston has had success in Portland, they can step up and bite you at any time. Best to lay off. 

They rotate those picks constantly. Here's a trick you can do. I have done it many times and it works. If you see something on the picks that you like, open a new browser. That way you can still pick the game you want as long as you're not clicked off. Most people don't realize that. Also sometimes if you don't like there selections wait about 5 minutes and click on again and some of them will be different including ones that were off the board that you like. They know what they're doing. They have little tricks I have notice as your streak gets longer. We will be discussing these later when our streaks reach double digits. These guys know what they're doing believe me. It's not gonna be easy to get the $25K.

 Some sportsbooks offer alternative totals for over/under (specifically I'm looking at the NBA w this) and this may be similar to the hockey o/u tip that was shared by Pcharm as this too just illuminates some piks where the odds are now more in your favor.  I've noticed in this contest that they hit the spreads right on the Vegas # usually, but are slower to react to the movement of game totals w the big sportsbooks.

For example, I almost took Golden St/Charlotte over for tonights game as I saw the number ...WAS... 204.5 earlier this morning.   Going to check the odds on alternative totals shows me that over 204.5 is a -130 favorite.  Double checking that with trends on this site tells me the over is a solid pick tonight.  After researching, I come back to this contest-- (and since I didn't have another browser window open ....awesome tip by the way) --  I see they have finally adjusted the number to where it now stands at 205.5!

Further proof the over is the play 2nite in this one.  

I like what you've done so much I'm on board with Orlando as well.  Looking to get my 8th with it.  Having 2 stomach ulcers has to take your mind off the hoops somewhat.  Loss of Rose focus plus no one to stop Howard inside means I feel this pik is even better than the G St over.  Good luck to everyone.  I'll be surfing this thread and this thread alone when I come back.

  If one had locked in on the G St over when covers offered it up at 204.5 early this morning, they'd now be sitting on a pick that has current odds standing at -175 and climbing steadily. 

 Now that's what I call a great value pik, swinging the odds in your favor.   I've already seen the midday number for this over/under game as hi as 208 at other sportsbooks so the money is coming in large for the over on this one for sure.   Getting it at 205.5 was still good odds (-150), as I noticed one of our fellow members in the top 10 overall is locked in on this very pik with that number.  Again, great odds in the context of what we are given in this contest. 

    

One of my pet peeves is once u lock on a pik, u can no longer see covers' lines and where they stand now.  I suppose u need another member to help out.  

For those that can still see it, just curious what the over/under is for the Golden State/Charlotte game on this site and what it may rise to up til the late 10:30p eastern start time.  

 Thx to all, as smooth is on the right track with working together.  If we all get to W21, we ALL get paid.  One of the positives of this game is we are NOT competing with each other rooting for one another to lose as in other streak contests.
