This game is proof that that the BCS is bullshit! These 2 teams AREN'T the best 2 teams in College. 7 Qts and 7 FG's. LSU's QB Jefferson is a joke and McCarron ain't much better. What a pathetic display of football. We need a Playoff in College Football just like every sport.

     Who is better? Bring them on! These two defenses will demoralize any who get in their way! I am all for a playoff system, but I believe these two are the best and would have steamrolled all others to get into this Championship Game. Oklahoma State, Stanford, Oregon, Baylor, and Oklahoma all would have crumbled against either of these two teams, in my opinion.

Boise St, Oregon, Stanford, Okla St. Baylor, and even USC would have rolled these 2 teams. Amazing! We are forced to watch this crap and call one of these teams Champs. I don't think so. If I had a vote I would vote for some other team.

     None of those teams play defense. Watching them is like watching a two hand touch game. Bring them on! Tell them not to sing it, but bring it. I would enjoy watching their destruction.

     It is obvious that we disagree here, but this is what makes this thread so great! A true forum for discussion. This is a good topic.

It shouldnt even be 2 teams from the same conference that already played each other.  I check the score but really have no interest in this BCS matchup.  With these super conferences being aligned it will be even worse and further from a playoff.  i liked bowl games better when they had non corporate name.  I read on vegasinsider.com that books had parlays up to 10 team parlays still alive from week 15 in the NFL when the Pats beat DEN.  They said if LSU wins and covers there will be big payouts every where in vegas and online and the books were keeping BAMA favored despite the money on LSU, which made me think LSU will not win.

Like Barkley says this is a turrible game for a championship and last game of the year.  At least last year it was a game I wanted to see.  The only level of any football with no playoff and the only time the NCAA doesnt care about the corporate gifts the players get worth thousands.

thats what would make a playoff great let it be decided by the teams not corporate greed.

I also think Wisconsin could beat these teams with 45 days to prepare and they lost to Oregon

too many dumb bowl games........there should only be about 6 bowl games.........doubt there will ever be a playoff

That was a bad loss by the Badgers to Michigan State. They are good, but not elite.

That's what kills me. Do you know how much money could be made on a Football Playoff. March Madness is the 2nd most bet on sporting event after the Super Bowl. This would eclipse March Madness no doubt. 8 teams would be ideal but I will settle for 4 but the system now sucks and I yet to meet a fan from a team that doesn't win the National Championship who thinks the BCS is good.  If it's greed then  a Playoff would satisfy their greed and our hunger.

and LSU killed Oregon......and the other teams have no defense, so don't think they could be on the same field as these 2 teams......and Bama dominated LSU tonight,,,,just think what they would of done to those other teams......but they should at least have a 4 team playoff.

I agree, Smooth. The only reason I am not complaining this year is that, as you stated, I am a Bama fan. I would love to have a tournament style playoff system. Alas, we can only wish; for now. The BCS is flawed, indeed. That might even be putting it lightly.
