Where's Bama? He's pulling another one of his disappearing acts again. Bama needs to be here for this celebration. I'm getting a posse together and go search for him. Bama has been here since the beginning and he is responsible for a large part of the success of the club in it's early months. Thanks Bama!

Tigers/Yankees got on with the Yankees at -128 and the total at 7.
I however took the Montreal Alouettes -7.5.
Also South Florida is MEGAOVERRATED! For a #16 team to lose by 27 and only score 17 (including 0 in the 2nd half) to a Pitt team in a down year should be unranked after such a disgrace.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the props, Smooth! I have been fighting off a nasty cold (or at least trying to) since Monday night. So far it has been getting the best of me and I have not felt like doing much posting. I almost do not even feel like picking games, but I have at least done that, to my detriment it seems, since I have now lost 2 straight picks. I have still been reading the thread every night, at least once, before going to bed so that I am still in the loop of things. I still feel dog sick and weary and will be going to the doctor's office if I am not well by Monday.Reading the thread has been very entertaining, indeed, and I am proud to be a part of such a great group. From Smooth's and GolfGodKS' anti-Red Sox rants to Quad professing never again.
From Booyahz's great analysis and continuing war with hotdog to EdwardGlennx's Fantasy Football run and observance of the page of the thread's historic milestone achievment of 200 pages.
From all of this and more I have been keeping up with everyone's progress and feelings.
I will be rejoining the fun on a regular basis as soon as I can shake this bug. You wouldn't believe how many thing that I have gone back an made corrections to in this post! It has been a Herculean task just to get this far.
In closing, I would like to wish everone the best of luck this weekend on all of their picks and wagers.
Everyone except Reddog, that is. You just know his hard-spying, profile stalking ass still comes over here looking for ammunition. His success was a fluke that will not be repeated.

@ Golfgodks: you can embed YouTube Videos directly to your Covers Space, no problem. Here is the link to Covers Spaces Learn About YouTube Videos
If you have any more questions, I can try to help you.
It is very cool to be able to embed YouTube videos to your Covers Space! You can have ten videos per category in up to ten categories for a grand total of up to 100 YouTube Videos embedded on your profile.
My only complaint is that you cannot choose the order that the categories are displayed. You can only choose the order of the videos within each category. So, this means that if you have videos in the "sports" and "music" categories, then your number one "sports" video will always show up on your profile by default. This simply means that you must put your #1 overall favorite video in the top spot in the "sports" category if you want it to be the one that appears on your Covers Space.
The categories are in the order as follows:
1.Sports
2.Pro Football
3.Pro Hoops
4.Baseball
5.Pro Hockey
6.Entertainment
7.Music
8.News
9.People
10.Other

I should have gone with Utah State (like I did on SFTC) Tigers/Yankees got on with the Yankees at -128 and the total at 7.

instead I took the Alouettes, they lead by 16 but they blew the -7.5 getting outscored 13-3 in the 4th quarter and winning by 6.

I would like to take a moment to thank EVERYONE for helping this Club be what it is today! From the Founding Fathers like Bama and Quad to the others that picked up the baton, Boohayz, Edwardglenn, Vectors, Sovicious4u and the many others who make this club great. The newcomers like Golfgodks and others. The members who have won money to name a few, Whitesmith, Somanyrings, our only female member to come forward Hot Girl. Bradytime an old time member who comes on occasionally so many people. Please don't take offense if cant remember everybody. Special shout out to our 1st poster Mizuno22. Another special shout out to the man who gave us our name Swami1. He was very influential in the early days and getting people pumped up for making picks.
When I started this club I just wanted a virtual place where people could come online and hang out, post picks and share theories without the negative drama. Like I have said so many times before this Club has blossomed beyond my wildest dreams and it's because of the quality of people that we have that posts here regularly. It truly has turned into a brotherhood.
Some of the things I would like to see happen in the next year is that we have a "hangover" weekend in Vegas or some other city we can cause some trouble and just have a great memory. Let's see if we can make that happen. Plan it far enough ahead where we can plan it right and just go buck wild somewhere. My first choice would be Brazil but hey I'm realistic lets do Vegas and take it by storm. I'm looking forward to more winners and another 5000 post!
And of course our motto " Mount Up Boys it's time to ride"
