There's a lot of talk about Baylor. I'm saying TCU is still a good team and I'm going with TCU for W2. College ball can be unpredictable in the early going but once we know who's who I can be pretty deadly in College Football.

Just an observation on my part. I see everyone being patient on SFTC right now. I think we all are bringing a little of that Streak Survivor discipline to ESPN. I got a real good feeling that we will have some very long streaks in our group on SFTC. BTW which one is Whitesmith?

I'm not sure if I am being patient on purpose or if the picks just SUCK that bad, but I haven't seen much to like so far this month! Tonight, I really like The Team That Must Not Be Named to continue their dominance this season over the Rangers and TCU to win outright against Baylor. I am on TCU right now, but may change to "those other guys" later. The Horned Frogs will most likely stick as my SFTC play, however. Good luck!
BTW, the Whitesmith is the entry called Buy PBR Help Save America. It is cool to see our group growing. We have EG to thank for putting it on there for us. Keep on Winning! Duh!

Baylor at home in a prime time game with a 3 pt spread is not the lock people think
dont be shocked when Baylor wins......3 pt spread isnt much of an upset this is Baylor' s strongest team in years
Hmmm. I will be totally shocked if Baylor wins. For a couple of reason, I like TCU.
1. The TCU running game returns all of their leading rushers from last year and their offensive line is huge. This group finished 10th in rushing last season. Can Baylor stop them with their brand new Defensive Coordinator? Make no mistake, TCU has always been about running the football. Sure it will be hard to overcome losing Dalton, but this is the running attack that can do it. Baylor's defense is weakened from last year with the departure of leading tacklers. The Bears have to make up for the loss of leading tackler
Byron Landor who was among the nation's best last season with 127 stops
and three forced fumbles. The same goes for Tim Atchison and Chris
Francis who tied for second on Baylor with 72 stops apiece. Tevin
Elliott, the leader with five sacks last season, will be back along the
front line for the defense, but he'll need a lot more help to develop
the same sort of opportunities in the backfield. If TCU establishes the run, this could get ugly.
2.Of all the changes for TCU, almost nothing has changed for their defense. Yes folks, the team that finished last year #1 in total defense returns very much intact !This same defense held Baylor to only 10 points in last season's game!on the other side, Baylor has gotten weaker on offense because of the departure of their leading rusher is missing their leading rusher, Jay Finley, from last year! They will call on Terrance Ganaway to fill the void. He carried the ball just 46 times last season. The TCU defense will key on stopping the pass, which they did last year to the tune of holding Baylor QB Robert Griffin III to just 164 yards! This was the second lowest total for him behind Oklahoma's shutdown of him for 124 yards. He has a tendency to disappear in big games against big D. The TCU Defense will dictate this game.
In short,I sense a disaster looming for Baylor! Maybe I should just go with the notsoB deR xoS, instead.
Good luck with whatever you decide, Club!

Last night I got the blowout win and spread cover with the MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS drubbing of MEMPHIS. They covered the 30.5 spread by winning 59-14.
Tonight, I am expecting more of the same type of blowout with a different MSU hosting the Penguins of Youngstown State. Hide the women and children folks! This one could get real ugly real fast!

LOL at Booyahz posts over there on the notorious, legendary HELP!! thread. Or, as it is now known, the "I've fallen and I can't get up thread"! I laughed until I cried! You are killing me, Booyahz!
I find Booyahz's usage of smilies/ emoticons thingies most amusing! Especially the ones with the pointing and laughing, such as:
This one was pretty good, too.

I think a big loss that people aren't talking about is the loss of jeremy kerley for TCU. He was huge in the kick/punt return for them and also a consistent wide receiver. I'm not saying TCU is gonna lose cause of this but its def something to consider.
