MASTERONE CONNECTS TO TAKE THE LEAD!

Masterone seems to hitting Atlanta with surgical strikes to the body. This battle seems like it's stuck in molasses or something as neither Gladiator can get anything going consistently. We have yet another lead change as Masterone has taken a slight lead over the Champ. The one thing that's weird about this battle is that both Gladiators remain in the negative. This is highly unusual. We now head into the homestretch of this Semifinal clash. We expect the fans of both Gladiators to bring the energy as we enter the final days and conclusion of this battle.

SEMIFINAL BATTLE HEADS INTO LAST WEEKEND!

Masterone is attempting to thwart Atlanta's bid of becoming the 1st Gladiator to Repeat as Champ. Masterone has a moderate lead but by no means insurmountable. We all know Atlanta is more than capable of overcoming a 224 point lead in a 3 day period. This battle has been strange on so many different fronts we expect another nailbiting Sunday Night. Stay tuned as these 2 Gladiators conclude their historic battle to see which one will have a chance to battle for Immortality here in the Battle Forum!

FINAL WEEKEND WILL TEST THE MENTAL STRENGTH OF GLADIATORS!

Grambus has a huge lead as we head into the Final Weekend of this Semifinal matchup. What started out as a brawl has become a one sided affair as Grambus has a 872 point lead. But if anybody can come back from that huge lead it would have to be Degosfinest who is capable of gaining hundreds of points each day. The strange thing about this battle is that if Grambus beats Degosfinest he would complete the Double Brother kill-off by eliminating Upset City and Degosfinest in successive rounds. One can only hope that Degosfinest can summon a comeback to make for an exciting Sunday night.

DEGOSFINEST IS RACING THE ALMIGHTY CLOCK!

The sands of the hour glass is slipping away for Degosfinest as he battles Grambus. Degosfinest gained 221 points yesterday on top of the 180 the day before. That's a gain of 401 points to a non active Grambus. Degosfinest still trails Grambus by 697 points. He only has 2 days left to catch him. It's a tall order for even the toughest of Gladiators like Degosfinest.

MASTERONE STAYS IDLE AS ATLANTA LOSES GROUND!

Masterone was idle last night as he continues to battle Atlanta stragtegically. Atlanta just can't seem to get it going. This battle is being played in molasses as both Gladiators continue to score in the negative.

MASTERONE PUSHES ATLANTA TO THE BRINK!

Masterone took a big step towards making it to the Battle Forum Championship when he nearly KO'd Atlanta. Masterone was in cruise control. Atlanta went big on Pittsburgh who promptly loss and he also lost on Washington. Tough break for Atlanta. The Champ is going to need a real miracle to escape this defeat on Sunday.

DEGOSFINEST ROLLS BUT IT COULD BE TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!

Degosfinest kept their slim hopes alive by gaining 402 points while Grambus remained idle once again. Degosfinest surprised everyone by going 3-0 to gain those points. So what happens next is up to these 2 Gladiators to decide. Degosfinest is down by 295 points. He could go 3-0 and steal the victory if Grambus remains idle. If Grambus plays and lose even 1 game Degosfinest could repeat Crush's miracle win back in Battle Forum II. The stakes are high here in the Battle Forum with the Championship berth on the line.

The Picks are in. Atlanta needs 591 points to catch Masterone who is idle as of now. We will have to see our Masterone plays it as the 1:00 games gear up for the 1st pitch.

DEGOSFINEST PUSHING GRAMBUS TO THE LIMIT!

Degosfinest is fighting like a true Gladiator. His fans are all here in the Battle Forum as he continues this unlikely of all comebacks. Degosfinest is now 2-0 and needs one more win to take the lead over Grambus. However if Grambus makes a pick and loses combined with either a Degosfinest win or no pick then Degosfinest will still go to the Battle Forum Championship. The suspense is killing us and no doubt all of our fans are waiting as well. Which one of these Gladiators will advance to the Championship and get their shot at immortality!

    MASTERONE ENDS ATLANTA'S REIGN!

Who would have thought that this would happen but it indeed it has. Masterone has defeated the Champ Atlanta in decisive fashion. Atlanta simply couldn't answer the call today which was a tall order to begin with. Masterone has played this Tournament like a Chess match from the beginning. This particular battle wasn't pretty at all in fact let's be honest it was downright ugly. It's the first Semifinal match in Battle Forum history where both Gladiators finished in negative territory. But all that doesn't matter now as Masterone will take that next step for his chance to join the Immortals and win the Battle Forum Championship. Congratulations to Masterone!

DEGOSFINEST AMAZING RUN COMES UP SHORT!

Degosfinest tremendous run was cut short by Fernando Rodney's inability to hold a 2 run lead in the 9th inning. That blown save ended Degosfinest great run as he scored 927 points in 4 days. So what would have been the greatest comeback in Battle Forum History falls short. Grambus was idle as he was playing it conservatively hoping Degosfinest would fall short and indeed he did. But despite Degosfinest great run you have to tip your hat to Grambus who has been the most consistent Gladiator in the Tournament. Now Grambus will get his chance in his 1st Battle Forum appearance to join the Immortals and take home the coveted Battle Forum Trophy. What a Battle this was. Congrats to Grambus!

Now we're here at the Pinnacle of where all Gladiators want to be. The right to fight to join the Immortals. The Hall of Champions awaits the winner of the Battle Forum Championship. What an exciting match it's going to be with 2 Gladiators with contrasting styles.

We have Grambus the most consistent Gladiator in the entire Tournament. Grambus qualified for the Quarterfinal round by finishing 3rd in the 1st Round. His 2 day surge at the end of that round was a preview of what was to come. Grambus blitz Upset City in the Quarters and advanced to the Semis where he faced a seasoned a tough Degosfinest. It was all in the Family as Degosfinest is Upset City's younger brother. Hell bent on avenging his brother's defeat Degosfinest was a motivated Gladiator. Grambus got out to a big lead in what seemed insurmountable but Degosfinest went on an epic 4 day run at the end almost pulled off the impossible. Only an implosion by Fernando Rodney cost Degosfinest the match. So now Grambus has earned the right to battle for the Championship and add his name to the list of the Immortals.

The other Gladiator fighting for the Championship is Masterone. He has been playing Chess with the Gladiators all Tournament long. Masterone finished the 1st Round in the 6th place. He was extremely quiet in that round and not much of a factor, pretty much hovering around the .500 but the last 4 days Masterone made his move to qualify for the Quarterfinals.

In the Quarterfinals Masterone battled Brackson. Brackson had a stupendous 1st Round and was coming into the Quarters one of the hottest Gladiators along with Thedeakon and Grambus. Masterone played Brackson masterfully, even beating him at his own game. Brackson made his living on longshots and Masterone pulverized Brackson to advance to the Semis.

It certainly wouldn't get any easier for Masterone in the Semis. He had to face the Champ himself Atlanta. The Champ was known for hot streaks that demoralized his opponents but like we said Masterone is playing Chess. In a shocking victory Masterone defeated Atlanta in convincing fashion to advance to the Championship. So now we're here. Masterone and Grambus, two Gladiators with contrasting styles will battle for the coveted Battle Forum Trophy. We anticipate nothing short of an extraordinary battle.

    MASTERONE STRIKES FIRST

Masterone came out and popped Grambus in the nose putting him on alert that this will be one tough match. Masterone once again showed his versatility going with the Underdog San Diego to take the early lead. It's a full house here in the Battle Forum as Masterone's fans have come in mass from Texas. They had alot to cheer about as their hero pranced around with his trademark stare daring Grambus to respond. This is only Day 1 so grab some popcorn because we've got 13 more days to go in this epic battle for the Battle Forum Championship!

GRAMBUS SUCCUMBS TO MASTERONE'S STARE GAME!

Grambus is the latest victim to Masterone's stare. Grambus wilted yesterday losing 340 points while Masterone pranced around and just stared at him. Masterone's fans were euphoric watching Grambus wilt under the relentless gaze of Masterone. Grambus is down big early but there is plenty of time to make up the ground.

    MASTERONE EXTENDS HIS LEAD!

Masterone is playing this field like a fiddle. We have seen some different strategies being employed by Gladiators this tournament. Brackson going for mostly Underdogs. Masterone being very selective with his picks and even taking multiple days off. It's working again as Masterone continues to plod his way to the Trophy. He's like a Turtle just taking his time. Meanwhile Grambus is like a Jack Rabbit. He's been incredibly fast and accurate but now Grambus has hit the skids and hit it hard. Masterone's slow pace has added more pressure to Grambus because now he's really in the hole big time. The question is can Grambus cut into Masterone's lead as we head into the 1st Weekend? We certainly can't count anybody out at this point. One thing Battle Forum IV has shown us is that no lead is safe.

    GRAMBUS FIGHTS BACK!

Grambus took a huge chunk out of Masterone's lead tonight by going 3-0 and thus gaining valuable ground and 300 points as we head into the Weekend. Masterone split his games and thus had a net zero today. Grambus looks like he is ending his slump and is ready to challenge Masterone head on.

GRAMBUS PUTS THE HEAT ON MASTERONE

Grambus has taken the lead over Masterone by going 3-0 for the 2nd the day in a row and gaining 300 points. Masterone isn't used to this type of heat but he has it now as Grambus has certainly has taken it to another level. Now that the weekend is here Masterone will have to respond and respond in a big way.

    NOW WE HAVE A BATTLE!

It's getting tense in the Battle Forum as these 2 Gladiators put it all on the line now. They realize what's at stake and tension in the air can be sliced with a knife. Grambus ended his 6 game winning streak by going 1-2 and losing 115 points. Masterone remained cautious but did pick up 103 points when he went 1-0. This battle is playing right into Masterone's hands. He likes these slow paced battles where points come at a premium. It's a battle of Wills at this point.

    PATIENT GRAMBUS MAKES PROGRESS

It's safe to say now that Grambus realizes he's in a Chess match. He sees the strategy that Masterone has employed throughout the Tournament by not picking everyday and being very selective. It's the "Rope A Dope" Battle Forum style.  But Grambus is no dummy either. He's adjusted his style as well. Does this play right into Masterone's hands? Masterone has dictated every battle he's been in so far. The risk takers get taken out early and when they try to slow down Masterone counters with a barrage of hits. It's been a splendid strategy so far. Now that the battle is tightening we're going to see which Gladiator imposes his will on the other. Will Grambus force Masterone out of his Rope A Dope? Will Masterone force Grambus into this very conservative plodding style? We will see and then we will know. Stay tuned as this fascinating battle enters it's 2nd and final week.

    GRAMBUS CONNECTS BIG AGAIN!

Grambus once again tagged Masterone with a 3-0 day for a gain of 300 points. Grambus  has been playing it rather conservatively and not going for big Underdogs. It's his 3rd 3-0 day of the Championship round. Masterone kept pace going 2-1 for a gain of 90 points. The Battle is now entering into it's finals days. It's all going to come down to who wants it the most. Grambus or Masterone. Stay tuned.
