a ref who doesn't allow the usual bully ball that has been allowed in SO MANY matches thus far. Which strongly favors Morocco.
No we've got a gung ho hall monitor calling yhis match. What's the total on yellow cards, 11?

yeah I think I felt better about Australia yesterday going into the half than I do about Morocco today. So they MUST change things for the 2nd half. If they do we have a good shot of cashing.

The next game is seemingly another David vs. Goliath affair as Paraguay try to trouble Les Bleus. As much credit as I want to give to Paraguay for beating the Germans and getting to this stage, they have been pretty awful on offense scoring just once in six historical World Cup knockout games. And if you look at their scoring in this year's tournament, the ONE time they scored was in last games knockout game. So other than that goal they have gotten NONE historically at these stages. Not good when you are facing France.
Yes, the Paraguayan defense is much more stout than that of the Swedes. They will also play differently, in a much more compact way with a heavy backline to try and limit the French opportunities. But let's not kid ourselves, this is a lethal French offense that will spread out the Paraguayan defense to allow opportunities for Mbappe. They also can strike from distance with Olise and Dembele and Mbappe and Tchoumeni, etc...You get the idea.
On the opposite side of the ball, the French defense has been stellar, much better than what Paraguay faced vs. Germany. And Paraguays offense have scored a total of 3 goals in 4 games which I am pretty sure won't get it done against the French today. Even the Swedes with their offensive players couldn't penetrate them.
I am going to play the sides that I think have the best chance of winning, I'm not going to mess around like I did with the USA game. There isn't value in much in the game but there are some spots I really do love:
FRANCH FH (-165)...BIG PLAY!!!: I'm dropping on these odds as France will be relentless with possession and attack and Paraguay knows this and will be prepared for it defensively. But I just think bearing in mind that France have led at half-time in eight of their last nine games there is as good a chance as any that it continues here too.
FRANCE TT OVER 2.5 (+101):. Have to play this. Just on principle. The French have scored 3 or more in 6 out of their past 7 games and while I know I said the Paraguay defense is good, there is just a real chance they keep things going even when the substitutes come on. I mean if the USA could get 4 goals on them...I know, not the same stakes but still, I like the shot here.
Going to post these then perhaps come back with one more I'm assessing. Hope everyone is having a solid day and it would be great to get another Moroccan goal and avoid one from Canada

What you think of Paraguays Goal keeper? Good Goal keepers make a big difference. Maybe PK’s? Good luck bro. Your picks are solid though. GL.
