That's the thing...it's not. You just have to look at it from the perspective of making money. That is all Roger Goddell worries about. So what does that mean exactly? it means 40 yard PI's called, holding calls which dictate the game, personal fouls, etc...
Remember when a HIGH total was 48 and most in the NFL were set to 42 or even lower?! You think they just started scoring boat loads of points by chance after playing the game all these years??? Nope, the NFL, as with some other leagues, realized people only wanted to watch exciting games and that mostly were games with scoring. I mean all you need to look at is what people think of a Super Bowl that might be low scoring and tight vs. another one where the defenses seem to be lacking. The first example is usually looked at as a very "boring" game while the other is usually a "great" Super Bowl, even if the winning margin is larger with the latter.
Anyways, I"m going on and ranting prob b/c I stated last year in MLB thread you will NOT see another 6.5 O/U in baseball this year due to their constant desires to shorten the games but also lift scoring. So they added a guy on 2nd base in extras, every inning mind you, a pitchers inability to check on runners on base more than 3 times, a base that is now sized like a pizza box to get more steals, etc...
And to think I was mocked and clowned in the MLB thread when I stated this and, if you actually were to know me, you'd know just how many connections I have in that sport at a high level...so yeah, you just have to change the way you look at games now and you can be profitable in the NFL on a weekly basis.
I'm going to jump into this game as time is starting to not be on our sides.
I'll say it once and I'll say it again, I have gone against Portugal in the 3 games with varying results. Sorry Ronaldo, beating and scoring on Uzbekistan doesn't mean "you're back".
Portugal have failed to score in 2 out of the 3 group games but are a whopping 3:1 favorite to advance to the next round?!? I mean I understand they have really done well v.s the Croats historically but this isn't just historically, this is the World Cup and Croatia know how to advance and get things done.
The games being played IN Toronto have averaged the most out of any open air stadium. Do I think this game can draw, yes. Do I think Croatia can win, yes. Do I think that Portugal can crush Croatia, no. And the main reason is a very solid goalkeeper and back line.
Portugal should move on and end the Croatian run but it won't be easy. Portugal have been sublime for some time, even before the tournament, and I do have a future on them after all. But I have one on Croatia too and their experience and confidence in their ability to move on I think will be a factor. I'd rather pay the price for the goal line on Croatia than that on the total.
CROATIA +1 (-155): Another one where if it were slightly less pricey I'd make it a big play but then again those others cashed so wager on your own accordingly.
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE CROATIA/PORTUGAL (-160)...BIG PLAY!!!: I'm having flashbacks to yesterday when I played this and it didn't hit but the Croatia attack is far better than that from Bosnia. Clearly a 1-1 final scoreline would be divine but given how goals have flowed in Toronto, even with the heat, I think these teams will hit the back of the net. Yes, it's pricy and a big play but Croatia have endured a three-match winless run at the finals against European nations (D1, L2) and so that spooked me just slightly.
That's it for the moment, I will be back on board around the half if things go a certain way I will have a HT play. If not, I"m good with these in what should be a really great game.

I do ask myself why do I even bother coming on to this site. I dont' ask for anything and have proven over YEARS across so many sports my knowledge. That's not bragging, that's being honest. Everything is there to see.

I'm a very positive and optimistic like you. Told all my cousins at the bar yesterday, I've never been on such a profitable run in my life and it's all thanks to LA Game of Inches. They were all wondering and showed them the account history since world cup started, and they were in shock and super happy for me! That's what individuals do. Recognize others for their great value.
