Next game for me is going to be similar to this one. Argentina have seemingly created drama in almost all of their knockout games, having hit extra time in 7 times since the 2014 World Cup. That's not only a LOT, and they probably should have gone that way in their last game against Egypt, but that's also some incredible fortune.
The problem for Switzerland is that they are not only really awful against Argentina, but South American teams as well. And they just beat Colombia but took the game to 0-0. On the other hand, they face an Argentina team that has scored 2+ in their last 11 World Cup games. So that's hard to ignore.
I'm thinking Argentina wins this game but I wouldn't be surprised if it hits extra time as many of their games have. I'll bite on an Argentina semi-final versus hopefully England in a Falkland Islands battle with a lot of history attached to it:
ARGENTINA TT OVER 1.5 (-130)...BIG PLAY!!!: I can't ignore the streak that Argentina are on and with Messi on the field 2 always seems possible. They have struggled early of late so I'm taking this and it is priced that way too.
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE ARGENTINA/SWITZERLAND (-105)...BIG PLAY!!!: Truth is that Argentina does in fact give up goals and the Swiss have some really solid pieces up front. IT's hard for me to see them again putting up a doughnut and I already think that Argentina will get 2. It also helps that six of Argentina’s last seven World Cup knockout games saw both teams score. This play is also including extra time.
These are probably the only two I will be playing and I am personally hammering both. I will also want to see how the England game turns out. Would be massive if England can also win and roll into this game. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
