With such an expanded group stage, so many top teams have not really played against anyone.
Are they really that good, a cohesive juggernaut because they beat Antartica?
Because of this I see a lot of support for top 8-12 teams who would have been bounced in the group, or moreso in the R16, who are still alive in R32 and getting odds that they don't deserve.
I got small CAN -1, 90 + extra time. it's 56 minutes in the match.
I think they're will be a few Teams that blow out by 2 or mire or easily advance without penalties in R32 and R16.

@LAGameofInches
Stupid question, but how do bets on the match total work during the knock-out rounds? Is it only for 90 minute regulation AND overage periods, but not include PKs?

@chixdinna
90 minutes regulation only for the match total.
Obviously someone has to score 1 more in ET or PK, so that's not counted towards the match total. Books are going to give away a "free" goal for no reason.

@jvarghese
If I take a player, such as David, to score a goal - is Extra Time counted for that wager? Or is that a regulation time wager as well? Thanks in advance.

Correct. This was not a game I thought the total was attractive.
The last 25 minutes will be much faster, Canada will not win by 2. I'd love to see South Africa somehow win outright would be a cool story. As the game gets closer to full time, I think both teams will not want to make a mistake so the BTTS might be a far fetch given the game script. But the South African BP would be a really nice hit and no reason why they potentially can't find a goal.

That depends on your book. Contact customer care. Also, when you place the wager, it should tell you if ET is included. Most are not.

Yes, same for spreads. Think of everything this way: must happen in 90 mins + whatever added time after the 90 mins.
If it goes to ET, all spreads get graded for the 90 mins + added time. ET doesn't matter (only if you have a team to qualify).

The only question here is - does your book give credit to goalscorers in ET?
Obviously they aren't giving goalscorers when it goes to PK. Then everyone would win lol.

@LAGameofInches
We were so close to winning. +1 was the smart bet regardless of outcome.

You have all enabled me to have a super successful WC and I wanted to thank all of you. Throw in a few successful parlays with your suggestions and the WNBA, and I’ve done very well.

I got you bud. No problem at all. I have two very good friends that are super into soccer. They literally watch every league and know every player. I have learned a lot from both of them over the years. Been doing this a very long time.
If LAGI, BC, and DJ all agree then it's pound town time!
