Any small little changes can change players mind before and during the game : weather , temperature, horoscopes, stock market, crowd, debts , the other teams players, getting boo’ed, family members sick … I just want to say, enjoy the bet, don’t bet too much you can’t afford to lose because there’s way better bettings with higher probability like MLB or CFL. At least this didn't end with only 4 goals but the Portugal game played out a lot like the Spain game. Not going to use the early start time anymore as an omen and LOADS of really tasty games set for tomorrow.
England come into this clash on a huge high but are playing a Ghana team who have many players in the English Premier League and therefore will know the opponent. The shitty thing is that I can see THIS game going under but that's juiced to -170 and I have zero intention of playing another under right out the gate, though as I said I do think it will cash.
One main reason I think the UNDER comes in is that England typically plays games that tally less than 4 goals in the game after they had one with over 4 goals. Ghana on the other hand rarely if ever plays a game which has 4 total goals. I do not see a way Ghana gets the win here but the question is how many will England win by.
Ghana haven’t scored before half-time in any of their last eight games and eight of Ghana’s last ten fixtures saw more goals after half-time than before. I can't ignore that and even though England is juiced rather high for a half time result, I can take an Asian handicap and circumvent that juice which I think will at worst push given the just mentioned stat. Then maybe a half time wager if things are going according to plan.
ENGLAND FH -1 (+104): In the case they come up as fired up as last game and take it to Ghana this will cash. I am not sure dropping -195 for a halftime play is smart so I opted for the goal line. If oddsmakers think England can win the FH with that much certainty, then I feel better pushing this at worst and not losing more than the bet.
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (GHANA/ENGLAND) +140: I am not a fool I know that England has played many games where they do not give a goal, and many leading up to the World Cup. But England's issue has been defensively and also a big reason I did not take the under. Ghana has enough quality up front to get one in the back of the net and with odds like this I believe this is a good spot to recover the money we just lost.
I'm going to stay with both of these and hopefully roll into the next game with some profit. Would be great to sweep both of these and I will be posting the Croatia/Panama play in a short bit when I update the numbers with the most recent loss.
Congrats to all of those who profited on this game there was only one side to wager on but I tried to get cute and that cost me.

Also guys I'm sure you know this but Ghana is playing with their second choice GK. Their top guy is/was really good but he's out with injury so that was a big reason I didn't try to go under here. Could be worth a shot playing England over 2.5 and everyone is going to expect Kane to score.
Another interesting read is that Ghana is only +105 to score so unless you think England will not get a goal the BTTS seems of much better value though that too has come down a bit.
Any way you look at it, this is sports wagering and it's never going to be as easy as we tend to think.

That really is solid it's just so crazy how juiced Harry Kane is b/c if England scores he's got a serious chance of being the guy. If it's a penalty, he takes them and doesn't miss.
I personally think Anthony Gordon can score as I believe Ghana will be putting two guys on Kane especially their fullbacks with size since he is great in the air using his head. I believe that will create additional chances for Gordon.
But that's just how I see it and I will have to start to put aside personal feelings on certain teams like Portugal moving forward or else I limit my opportunities and we don't want that when we wager.
