hunter I've been watching the Prov.St. Johns line. Prov started out as the favorite with a -1.5 spread with 84% of the public on them. Then it dropped to -1, +1, and now +2 always with the majority of the public on them. Providence comes in 11-2 with 3 road wins already. While St. Johns comes in 6-5 with 3 of its 5 losses at home. For some reason or another I looked at this game think that St. John has a shot at winning this because they have the better skilled players and with this being the start of conf. play I think things will turn around for them. Also you've got to consider who these 2 teams have played: Prov (Fairfield - W, ISU - L, UNI - L, S. Car - W, and BC - W) these are the more well known teams and the 3 wins came against weaker opponents while the 2 losses are so so opponents. While St. Johns played (Lehigh - W, Zona - L, Texas A&M - L, UK - L, and Detorit - L) every single one of these teams are NCAA tourny bound (Detorit a little iffy but at home they are great). St. John reminds me of UK they have tremendous talent but if they won't work together they won't win but I think they have player together long enough that they will make some noise in the Big East starting tonight. But going to watch the line movement a little more before I make it official.
