Soccer beginner need to know

What do I need to know as a very novice soccer bettor?

If you bet the moneyline and its tied you lose. Have to bet spread to push on a tie game.

I wanted to tail vanzack on under spain yesterday. My total was 2 and 2.5 How is it two different numbers 

So if game ends 2-0 you lose half your bet, other half is push.

If it ends 2-1 you win both.

IF YOU WANT TO WAGER ON THE ENTIRE GAME, INCLUDING EXTRA TIME/PENALTY KICKS, YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR A WAGER THAT SPECIFIES "EXTRA TIME/ PENALTIES INCLUDED" OF IF YOU WANT TO BET A SIDE, THERE WILL BE A WAGER OFFERED "TO ADVANCE" MEANING THE TEAM YOU ARE ON CAN WIN IN REGULAR TIME, EXTRA TIME, OR IN PENALTIES.

if you bet on draw. do  they count on 90 minute or final score?

for a newbie (and i'm one myself), i would suggest going to massey ratings and 538 (nate silver)..,... they both forecast soccer scores. good starting point. 

Italy is -140 to advance and pick -130

what is the difference between “to advance” and “pick”?  Is pick before penalty kicks?

pick: refunding when the game is draw in 90min.

 Thats what is tough about soccer.  I find the best ways are both teams to score or you can do tie no bet

If you do live betting, soccer is different on point spread. It goes by the score at the time.

If the game is Good Guys v Bad Guys and the score at the half is GG 1-0 BG, the in game goal spread might  be GG -1 @ 2.100. This might look appealing since they already have a goal but the -1 goal spread is a one goal spread at the time of wager. So if the final score is GG 2-1 BG, the amount of goals scored by your team is 1 and the other team is 1 so you didn’t win the goal spread. Even if you had -0.5 at like 1.677, you would lose as well.

Robo Rounds????

Betway seems to have continuous upcoming games, one after the other. Are all these games real or are some of them robo rounds designed to swallow your bet? Where can I get a list of a real soccer line up, regardless of the league, as long as I can place a bet on it?

 Betway has many betting options other sites do not have. The only downside with betway is that, you need to know that the match ytou betting on is real or they may play you through a robo match designed against your bet or where your bet is tight, hold onto it for24. Check your matches WSB to authenticate if they real before placing a bet on a potential robo match.

A great strategy for betting involves many different tactics. 

For me, I use both technical (Based on history, probabilities, and many different variables) and fundamental analysis (Current coach, current states, injuries....) when assessing games and how to bet on them. 

You need to be able to calculate true percentages and beat the market regularly to profit in the long term. 

So how to do it:

1. Keep following the news on the games you wish to trade, read the injury list...You have Goal.com and the Athletic as good examples.
2. Check websites that provide you with true values based on proven algorithms rather than on supply and demand such as the scores you see on the main benchmark betting sites. I personally use Don't Bet Invest, found their odds to be very accurate, and their platform is cool to use. 
3. Diversify your bets and lower that risk by spreading your bets in different markets, high odds, and low odds...
