The more important question is what is everyone's largest monetary loss in one bet?

 

Me= staking 20K (of student loan money) on Portugal to win ( lift the trophy) the Euro final over Greece. an_eek2

I went to the bathroom and puked ala Ewan McGregor in the rogue trader moviean_getaway

 

From that point on I learned not to bet what I can't afford to lose

My oldest book was/is bet365 that I opened in 2004. After taking that beat down. I would then literally bet 1 dollar as my unit for a few years. After which I just used the 2% of my bankroll rule equals 1 unit.

Now I just piss back $900 over the course of 25 wagers just yesterday alonean_roll_laughand that's cause I hit a 10u MLB parlay. Yesterday would have been my worst day in as long as I could remember if I disnt get lucky on that parlay

I will never forget that game was in little Portugal in Toronto. Everyone said that was a sure thing.

Its as clear in my mind as the the birth of my first child. I have had family pass away, pets die, NOTHING is more Vivid then doing something that stupid.
