Trust me I played poker for a living during that period of 6 years wins felt like nothing it was expected but losses sent you into a different reality

I played WPT when it came to Tampa. I went to school in Tampa because 18 was legal poker age and the Hardrock was only 10 mins from campus. I had $3.2k in front of me on a 1/2. I used to play well, but alcohol got in the way and I fell out of it

May have played with you but I was 90% cash game player but its funny you mention the drinking I have said for years even back then I would have been a millionaire if i stopped the drinking it always got in the way and it still does but I havent stopped it

I think with all vices it is an individual choice. Some people gamble within their limits and are OK. Some drink here or there and same. People smoke on occasion and don't get addicted. Same with pills, vape weed etc.
I quit all drugs including over the counter meds when I turned 30. Smoking cigarettes when I turned 40. All Junk food at 50.
All I have left is wine, bread and cheese and I'm too afraid to let those go![]()
