City just lost away to Bodo/Glimt 3-1 with Rodri being sent off and suspended for this game. Their only other recognised DM is Nico Gonzalez who might be available but he's been out injured for several weeks, so not sure he could go straight in.
Not to mention that City are decimated at the back having lost CB Gvardiol to a season ending injury and Diaz to medium term injury. They signed Guehi but he can't play until the next round, the same is true for attacker Semenyo. That leaves the only CB's available of Aki, Khuzanov and Alleyne, though the latter's horrid performance in the derby and at Bodo probably means Pep won't play him, but it's not like Aki or Khuzanov are any better.
Galatasaray are a much better home team, but they have plenty of quality in their side that in a one off game could cause a massive upset. They won't be short of motivation either, especially as both Sane and Gundogan are ex-City players.
Osimhen up front against those defenders, neither of whom are physically imposing, looks a hell of a mismatch. Khuzanov is fast but he's not strong, while Aki is old and slow and looks well past his best. Osimhen really could give them fits if Gala have enough chances to cross the ball to him in the box.
A lot of this price is predicated on City's name and the stars up front like Haaland, except they are going through a hell of a rough patch at the moment. Before the unconvincing win against Wolves on the weekend, they were 4 games winless in the league, while their main goal threat and contributor to almost half their goals in Haaland, hasn't scored in 9 games in all competitions - penalties excluded.
Let's also not forget that City lost 2-0 in their last home game in this competition to Bayer Leverkusen and a not particularly talented Leverkusen either since everyone bought all their good players.
This price is simply wrong and shouldn't be this short because Man City of late lack the players and the form to justify it.
