Thinking about hosting a FREE tournament monthly or possibly weekly for members..
CASH PRIZES
Trying to gather interest at current time. These would be hosted at PokerStars. Would be on the free money side ( of PStars site ) so all members could play .
Leave a if interested
Again it’s totally free .. Only requirement would be that you are a Covers member or want to join Covers .

@superbeets I'd be in if the logistics make sense Sick of BOL and Bovada rigged poker rooms
Brother I shoot it straight man. This is a “freeroll” so there isn’t too much to worry about .. It will not cost you anything to play ..
Trust me I’ve been playing poker for 20-30 years.. i completely understand what you’re saying BUT most rooms (online) are random card generators .. it may “seem” like it’s rigged but it’s the fall of the cards.. I leave many of night thinking “ how the hell did I get beaten like that”. Hell I played in WSOP this year and had worse beats then I do online.. if you’ve played for a while , you know what im saying. Now if you’re worried about BOTS that’s a different story….. I don’t play at Bovada so can’t say much about them but I’ve been refunded several tournament buy ins from other sites because of bot activity.

100%, I mean to say that if I can attend whenever the freeroll is schedule, I'd be in.
Yeah, I've used about 4 online clients over the last 15, and the issue (alleged, of course) with Bovada is there is 0 chat, 0 usernames, 0 communication, so a lot of us regular users think there are "plants" or "robots" that join tables and SnGs all the time that just rake. Technology is pretty limitless now adays.
I used to play WPT when they'd come to Hard Rock Tampa when I was attending University there

yeah it’s online at PokerStars. I don’t use PokerStars myself but always willing to try different avenues.
If you enjoy poker come to Texas and play. Best games in the USA are played here. Kinda funny since gambling is NOT allowed by our punk ass government BUT poker clubs are huge. I’ve played all over and nothing compares to the action we have. Only place that I’ve ever played that is higher is Macau.. that place is crazy. And way too expensive for me. I went for a tournament years back and had a hard time finding a game under 50/100. Finally found a 10/20(5) game(s). They play for crazy money which is out of my league.
But Vegas , Cali, Florida , East coast has nothing on action around Texas man. Give it a shot

I lived 10 years in Southlake (DFW suburb), but nearest poker room was Winstar, just North of the border, so I used to drive about an hour up there. That was about 9 years ago though. Are there now poker rooms around TX?
50/100 is unheard of. That's a special room in Vegas...that's crazy. Yeah 2/5 is as high as I can go. I played PLO here and there if I had a good enough week playing cash games in Holdem. But that is as high as I was comfortable.
Saw stupid high pots in just 2/5 PLO. I personally prefer Hi/Lo, but those were always 5/10, which is way out of my league when I was in college.
Very good to know, thanks

Nice! I used to play on party poker back before Black Friday, if you remember them. They were pretty big at the time, up there with PokerStars. Then of course had to go offshore to Bodog, now Bovada. Honestly my favorite client is BetOnline. Free typing chat, can choose usernames, etc. Just not a lot of action. I kinda fell out of it the last 5 years or so. Just sort of fell out of love with the grind
