CLUB WORLD CUP PLAYS (6/25)

Been a good run and also been good laying off certain games as they are just super unpredictable.  I say that more about the Gold Cup where I feel like Canada have really disappointed and have been super lucky to escape some of these games unscathed.  Been more the other teams making the mistakes than Canada playing a solid game and they have missed a few PK's so that is really unsettling.

In the Club World Cup, I think some of these teams need to really ask themselves who they are.  One of them kicks off shortly in Borussia Dortmund who I think have a LOT of work to do to improve their squad ahead of the start of the season.  They are fielding a rather strong lineup out the gate but they are in love with some of these players who are and have been "Jekyll and hyde".  They need to win to top the group and despite this being an early game and the heat always a factor, I think they get ahead early as Ulsan have taken the lead in a few of their games only to see it evaporate.  I don't think Dortmund will want to chase yet another game and the almost collapse at the end of the last game will serve as a stark warning here.  I'm confidently dropping the $$$ and collecting at the window:

DORTMUND FH (-180):  There is also an Asian handicap line at -3/4 if you think they might have problems and the current price is too rich.  I'm just not overly confident they get two in the first 45 considering Gittens is not playing today.  But they are far superior and if they come out motivated, this should be a solid early W.

Thanks.  No luck needed.  Another winner.  I'd say easy but 1-0 is never easy though Dortmund fully controlled that half.  The Ulsan goalkeeper is incredible or else this would have been 2 or 3 goals in the FH.  Also the reason I didn't take the Asian handicap goal line considering he was MVP of K-League.

Hopefully this helped someone out there seems there is nobody in the soccer forum but more money here than in other sports

I am very happy with the way the games are shaping up in the evening slate.  Both Inter and Monterrey need to win and they will both get it done.

Monterrey is facing a Urawa team that's a great story and has some really solid players but Monterrey has a very strong defense giving up next to nothing and I don't see Urawa breaking that trend.  IF they do, I am confident that Monterrey will get 2 goals, so I also looked at over 1.5 goals for Monterrey.  But in the end, perhaps their defense is stifling enough to keep Urawa at zero and it would only take a single goal to win.

For Inter, they are better than Boca Juniors but tend to play down to opposition.  Boca Juniors is out 3 midfielders with Kevin Castano being their biggest loss.  Inter have Denzel Dumfries back and I think he helps with controlling the midfield on the opposite side of Frederico DiMarco.  I think they will attack Boca wide and with Esposito playing tonight he is a big target they are going to want to find in the middle.  The loss of THuram is noted but if they really thought they needed him to get through he'd be playing.  Conversely, no point in making an injury worse which such a long season ahead.

Both teams are extremely attractive at their odds so I'm taking both.

Wow really screwed that up.  Hoping the results won't be the same but yes.  Embarrassing as I had capped the game vs. River Plate obviously
