Although I've laid wood, it's only about the money and nothing to do with record. 

Folks who post recirds on moneyline sports are a joke.

That being said, if there is a higher probability than what the odds say, well you can sit back (that's what I do) or you can lay the wood.

For instance, if the NBA Knicks are playing Rutgers NCAA and the line is -5000, well, every $5000 risked will yield a $100 in my greatly exaggerated example here. That game played a 1,000 times, Rutgers might win 1 on a fluke night.

That being said, I just laid -174 on Netherlands to reach R16.

 Appreciate that. Well said. That is how eV is calculated more or less. I have laid -170 I believe once this tournament, but had line capped around -275 and it hit. Similar to poker for pot odds and equity

I feel you. Had NZ +3.5 and a last second unnecessary goal by Belgium cost me a huge huge parlay. Followed by losing another on the one opportunity by Jordan last night to destroy my Argentina to win to the nil parlayed with Argentina-1 1H and Argentina TT over 1.5 parlay. Disgusting sometimes.
