THE WAAAAY TOO EARLY 2011 6NATIONS THREAD

France covers, IMO.

Early guesses:

France by 8.  Scotland by 8.  England by 18-23.  The English spread is tight.  England is virtually unchanged and the Italians have taken out Burton and made a bunch of other changes.  Depends how well these guys gel.  If they are sloppy and have no chemistry, England by 25+.

I wouldn't touch the England v. Italy game, to be honest.

Just took France to Win at $1.61.

Agree the England/Italy game is a no go zone,Italy are probably still devastated after losing a close encounter to Ireland,wouldn't be suprised if England won by 6000000

Italy destroyed 59-13.  Wow.  Glad I have Ashton, Cueto, Flood, and Haskell in my fantasy team!  MUAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Scots looked timid and when they did set up an attacking platform they botched it with dropped passes, missed offloads, or general poor intelligence.

An absolute shocker.

Italy and Scotland look like general shyte today so what does that mean for Ireland and France tomorrow? 

I liked Scotland as well but as favs, just couldn't bring myself to back them

England should be shot if they don't win this tournament

Well, at 77:45 I told my Irish friend, "let's just see how France decides to throw this match."  And then fifteen seconds later Chabel flops the ball to the side looking for an oncoming player.

Luckily, Kidney can't figure out his team and a cold-handed Cronin knocks the ball forward.

And I am back to where I was two weeks before the tournament.  Liking England to win it.  HAHA!!!

Still think France is more talented, but their errors are too numerous and back-breaking to get away with it against this year's English side.  Lievremont is paying for his years of inconsistent selection by not having the congruity and flow amongst his players as they should have.  France looks outright dangerous only to botch it with some asinine error.  England will eat that up in two weeks if France does it again.

Ireland scored 3  tries to 1 but all the ill discipline cost them with France kicking a hundred penalties


England should thrash France

England should beat France based on taking advantage of their errors and botched opportunities.  France clearly hasn't gelled together yet as well as Lievremont had hoped now that he is trying to be consistent in his selection.

The waaaaaaaay too early Round Three lines:

Italy +11 Wales

England -3 France

Scotland +6 Ireland

Wales moved into -10 and England to -4 now.  Looks like early bettors like the Italian value and don't regard the French revival too much.  Can't believe Lievremont has already named his 23-man squad for the 26th, TODAY!  The man clearly suffers from bi-polar disorder.

Ireland dropping to -5 in some places as well.

England by 14+

That's what it looks like and will be like if France doesn't clean up their errors.  Ireland won 44 balls in the French 22 as opposed to only 7 won balls by the French in the Irish 22.  RIDICULOUS.

However, Ireland's 17 errors masked the 9 by the French that should have proved disastrous otherwise.

Will be interesting to see what happens to the line as we move closer to the match.  I am assuming we will even see -5.  I cannot wait for this match.  It's gonna be awesome.

You like Scotland here +6 Rod?

I am waiting for the selections.  If O'Leary is out and a few others, I like Ireland here.  Will be interesting to see what Robinson does with the Scots.
