I struggle to see England as a threat, what do you see? Their backrow is terribly unbalanced. While the rest of the world is moving towards utilizing two openside flankers they are opting to have none at all.

So many good players not in the squad due to politics.

Yes. It has taken me a good 2 or 3 hours for it to sink in just how bad Owen Farrell was today. Hopeless. He spends the whole game loitering 10 yards behind the gainline allowing forwards to constantly take the ball at first receiver and when he does get the ball he either kicks it or shovels it to the centres without threatening or or committing any of the inside defenders. He offers absolutely no tactical direction or leadership and offers nothing with the ball in hand. Instead he rushes around the field like a maniac in defence targeting opposition backs that are physically smaller than him. A hopeless fly half and from the way he carries on on the pitch and the way he whinges to the referee all the time an unpleasant human being by the looks of it too.

The cries of nepotism have always been laughed off but the correlation between Andy Farrell's influence on tactics and selection and the selection of Owen Farrell can't really be dismissed any longer. Or maybe it is just a coincidence that Andy supports the tactics and style of play that sees his son get selected. The whole setup is a crock of steaming sh*t.

not my comments, but they spot on

Yep...Cips, Eastmond, Tuilagi would be a great midfield and obviously Armitage would be the x-factor...Robshaw is a toiler and a horrid captain.

So why are you backing them?

    fiji +15.5 main bet @ 1.87
fiji dnb @ 5.50 side bet

i had it as 31-20, with fatigue n injuries, this could squeeze into a try gap, anything can happen after  that

So many good players not in the squad due to politics.

Looks like England peaked too early in the current 4 year cycle. Last couple of years they have been exciting to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it out of the pool stage now.

You guys are over reacting.  England is not done yet.   Everyone wrote France off after the Tonga and what happened then?
They won the World Cup minus the Joubert fix.

The signs were not good after Wales bumbling Uruguay performance.  We know what happened next..

Today was one game.  Next week is another.  I'd be more worried about the All Blacks.  They could be out at another Quarter.
