mmm,i guess thats one way of looking at it...i wud prefer to just see it as being smart play to not give the cowboys a chance to cut loose from broken play wen they are trailing and willing to chance their arm....with momentum and depth and a running start thurston and those backline players from cowboys are more likely to spark sumthing against a defense that is not set........also clearly the broncos were more than a little gassed from all the defense they had been forced into playing plus the general tempo of the whole match.so very helpful to have that breather at each scrum setting.
just smart play with a lead for a team in their position really.....and it was 4 seconds and a miracle play away from working.
