I was wishing for a few sets either way and perhaps a couple missed drop kicks in Golden Point, but when the announcer said, "I want to ask the rugby gods why Thurston was allowed to miss that conversion!" I knew right then and there and JT was going to do something to win it.
I kept saying, shut up! Match isn't over! Maybe he missed it to do something even more amazing in Golden Point!
And when Hunt boffo'ed the kick, I knew it was on.
Greatest Grand Final in my lifetime.
Congratulations Cowboys!

Melo you been following the RWC? I haven't seen you around since it started
yea man,i HAVE to,im a new zealander...hehehe
yea,i just forgot about the rugby forum totally...generally just see covers as american sport website and just remembered a few days ago that there is sum antipodean folk here talking rugby also.
havent had too many bets but took the spread with namibia and georgia against our guys...knew they wudnt be up for it and it is a world cup final for sides like that versus the all blacks....over 60 odd points is a shiii.t load to cover in 80 minutes of rugby if you dont go all-out full bore ruthless styles.

your boys are trending nicely and to be 100% honest im shii.t scared of meeting them in a do-or die game...our pack are too old,too slow, not mobile enuff and dont have the hunger and mongrel i wud like to see......whereas your guys have learned to scrum and scrummage all of a sudden and pocock/hooper obviously feckin dynamite!!...if it happens i say we are only a 55% chance of winning.
only thing against y'all is that you gotta play so many tough games on the trot..its a huge ask to get thru the next 4 games all against quality opposition...but its tough not to love chieka and wat he done, how hes molded the side.

The one area where the Wallabies have had a glaring deficiency was their tight 5. They have improved the set piece part of the game a lot.
yep, that argentinian coach has fixed them up good and proper...on their day they can beat anybody no problem....great strike out wide, solid forwards.....foley had a terrific time of it today but im still not sure about first five eigth,i think that is the one weak spot that can be pressured
