whole world seems to be on the rabbits from wat i can gather...worrying.i think theres no doubt the roosters are the better overall side talent-wise across the park.but the spot is nice for souths...hurt from the past cupple seasons plus shud fuel their desperation and the xtra time off mite be crucial given the nature of the matches the roosters have had to engage in,that rest would certainly have been welcomed.i read that inglis was very thankful for his hip ailment.

Bunnies had tonight's ref run a training session a few weeks back. Cummins routinely fcuks the Chooks. The Waterhouse thing is a concern but he did have the Dogs at 3 bucks last week. Just playing it as I see it. Soufs great for the NRL if they should advance. Will buy out in-game if I have to...

Scariest thing for me as I said in the 1st post is Keary and Reynolds against the best halves pairing in the NRL...

Early ambush

Got a future on the Chooks so concerned but not overly. Impossible to write the Bunnies off at this stage.

Gonna stick with the Bunnies and count on fatigue hitting the Chooks in the 2nd half.

souths totally and utterly bossing the game ever since roosters jumped out to that early lead.....will have to be a huge reversal of seasonal trends for them to hold the rabbits at bay...all their size and power advantage came to the fore in that second 20 minutes......xtra week off will pay off big time at the back end for souths

That was one of the most bruising halves I have ever seen.

I highly doubt by the end of the game they will be at 90%+ completions by the end of the game.

completions mite not even matter if they keep smashing the roosters backwards in 8 out of 10 tackles

nice call.....far better team won in the end.just punched them in the mouth all nite long and would not relent....roosters ran out of gas one senses,but were never good enuff regardless

I found all the 50/50 calls went to Souths in my opinion but even with them the roosters still would have lost, we'll said melossinglet the better team on the night won, rooster never showed up in the 2nd half and we're running on empty I honestly think no matter who they play next week Souths will win the grand final and good on them well deserved they have copped a lot of criticism over the last 3 years, I just wish SBW had put one last shoulder charge on before he left the game again

yep,souths will be unbackable favourites in the final,even against the dogs...hard to remember a side in living memory that combines such power,size and brute force...plus they now have some finesse and nuance,creativity to go with it.

Especially if the panthers get up the Souths forwards will have a field dad bashing the undersized panthers forwards and therefore run right over them, based on results I would like to see a dogs bunnies gf, would make for a more entertaining game

Roosters were man handled....but in saying that, the roosters at one stage completed 30-33 sets and the Roosters were making error after error.

Picking my poison, as a doggies fanatic, I am glad Souths won, we match up far far better with them than the Roosters IMO.

I know I am getting far far beyond myself, but if we make the GF, I will be fairly confident especially as only GI has played in a GF.

The dogs have over 95% of the team play in a GF....

Actually think a Souths v Dogs final would be more of a game. Penrith don't have the halves or pack to hang with the Bunnies. Souths by 20 against the Dogs, by 40 against the Panthers.

totally agree,emkee...IF souths bring even 75%of wat theyre capable of and dont get stage-fright(which can happen lets remember),its a wrap.mite as well not bother playing the final....but i believe dogs definitely have a greater chance of making a game of it.....quite clearly you better fu.ken match the rabbits physically if you wanna stand a chance and i feel dogs have the better personnel to do that with the size and power they posses throughout.
