Yeah Wallace isn't going to be the difference between nsw winning and losing a series IMO.. Carney was the invisible man tonight, so was that other bloke they had as halfback whose name escapes me... Just goes to show what could have been for the blews if they had a man sized halves pairing

I like Reynolds, but don't see him being the answer just yet.

By next May he may be, but we've thrown plenty of young halves to the wolves.

Wallace would have given us some semblance of a kicking game, which IMO cost NSW the win tonight.

And Qld will have Slater back, Yow Yeh in the backline, sevntycentsalitre was a liability and will be gone, and if they're smart thaiday will be on a couch. Plus Stuart may still be NSW coach

oh, and 2 games in brisbane

So it will be 8 in a row. 1.75 is great value

    Reynolds is a 5/8, not a half.

NSW need an orgsaniser, Carney is the playmaker.

As i said, Pearce has the skills. He is tough.

However, at the moment, he prefers to be banging chicks than playing footy...He doesnt care...

    His mind is elsewhere.......

Remember, Pearce and Carney took that Roosters team (which had Jason Ryles in it) to a GF...

    So, they have something....

Reynolds next year would be the perfect utility off the bench.....

He is a grub, something NSW needs to get under the skin of QLD..He can come up with a big collision on D and spark his team up. He can also very very good from dummy half which he probably will end up as..

And he also has that X factor about him, ie, a chip and chase.

They were spectators while watching the best player in the world torch the opposition alive......That form Hayne displayed will probably go down as one of the greatest individual performances over a 8-9 week period in NRL history...

The Roosters had no one remotely that good....

oh, and 2 games in brisbane

So it will be 8 in a row. 1.75 is great value

Mentioning Oh E in the same sentence as billy is an insult

I dont blame the refs for the way that game was called but would be nice to see and Origin game that isnt ruled by bad calls. That s all, i wouldnt mind saying QLD should have won if in the series they dont get the favour of the whistle blower.

Just a sidebar - theres every chance Yow Yeh will never play first grade RL again, let alone SOO.. That injury was and remains to be extremely brutal. Only this week he was preparing to go back to hospital to have the leg re broken and more surgery.

Even the best case scenario is limited range of motion in that ankle from here on. Such a shame for him as he is a really impressive young bloke on and off field

The refereeing was beyond pathetic last night...

Just Hodges try was not a try...He ran behind his player which caused the NSW defender to momenatarily make a decision which he should never have to....

It seems the vid ref was confused with a blatant shepherd and a decoy runner...

YOU CANNOT RUN BEHIND YOUR PLAYER.

QLD and NSW were laying all over each other all night, some of the slowest play the balls i have seen, then Archer randomly blows his whistle when Lewis was on Neilsen, which was not slower than any other play the balls...

Just before half time, T-Rex got hit in the head twice by Hodges and no penalty...

I was on QLD, but the refereeing is woeful, absolutely woeful.

As long as Bill Harrigans ego is still there, refs will continue to bet on games and get away with it...

You need to brush up on the rules, the obstruction call now only applies if a decoy runner physically impedes or interferes with a defender

The more I see it, the more I think it was a try. If Beau Scott had brains though, which he doesn't - he would have taken a dive as that was the only way a penalty would have been called.

Regardless of that, NSW had the better start and failed to capitalize. Game wasn't lost on that try, game was lost in the halves for the Blues. Queensland had way too much class at 6 and 7 for NSW to overcome, whereas the Blues had a trash pairing...
