    1. Kurt Gidley
    2. Michael Jennings
    3. Joel Monaghan
    4. Anybody but Matt Cooper
    5. Joel Reddy (best defensive player under the high ball in the comp)
    6. Terry Campese
    7. Peter Wallace
    8. Brett Kite
    9. Robbie Farah
    10. Michael Weyman
    11. Ben Creagh
    12. Nathan Hindmasrh
    13. Paul Gallen

    14. Scott Logan (eligable for both NSW and QLD)
    15  Tom Learoyd-Lars
    16. Laffranchi
    17. TBA

If Logan plays like he did the other night he has to be picked. No coincidence that the Canberra forwards dominated on his return

Laffranchi has done nothing all year, so lucky to make it

    Late change to your programs

Out is number 2 Michael Jennings and in comes James McManus

Jimmy McManus is solid. Safe under the high ball, reads well in defence.

I was wondering why jennings was in your side and yet helping you win your Qld bet at the same time.

these clowns want to pick jennings in the centres, thats why. The difference between centre and wing is underated.

I can't believe the talk going around. Jennings as a centre, Ennis ahead of Farah, Gidley at half. It's like they are tyring their best to lose

There probably isnt anyone better out there then Reddy Second under the high ball but his is exactly why scoring tries from kicks should be worth less points,we are talking about putting a professional jumper into state of origin just to counter Inglis and Falou, never in a million years should a plodder like Reddy play state of origin, granted he is good under the high ball but overall he's a donkey.

If the talk of Ennis ahead of Farah is in fact true - then they really have lost the plot. Gidley should be fullback, but they'll pick Stewart.

They are now saying they'll play Gidley at 5/8 - but I'd have Campese.

If Pearce is picked at halfback, I may just harm myself.

I cannot get over how fucking retarded the selectors are. These 3 would struggle to organise a root in a whorehouse.

Queensland must just sit back and laugh. Their only concern is the form of JT. Heaven forbid if they don't play him, they'll have to give Scott Prince a run. If Prince's leg falls off, they'll just have to partner Cooper Cronk with Lockyer.

ace, qld will have no issue kicking to falou to score form a kick, why should nsw be any different? while these are the rules they must be exploited

battler, there is this "Ennis is a tough player, therefore is the sort of origin plyer needed". Since when does grub = tough. Ennis is playing behind a dominant pack, and Farah still out plays him. As I read yesterday Farah has kicked more 40/20's (2 - 0), run more metres (362 - 288) Made less errors (7 - 10), made more line breaks (3 - 0), missed less tackles (14 - 21), made more tackle breaks (19 - 6), made more tackles (157 - 124), scored more tries (2 - 0) and made more try assists (6 - 5).

The selectors need to bring it back to basics. Find the best player in each position and pick him. Don't play players out of position for the sake of picking them

Has anyone noticed that these retards have failed to solve the halves problem since Andrew Johns got thir arses out of jail in 2005?

I wonder if they'll still have a job if NSW lose again...

should have all been sacked years ago. but no, and they even thought of giving Daley the coaching job.

these guys must just bet large on Qld year after year, select a shit side, sit back and collect. And do it all again the next year. It's the only rational explanation for their decisions

    fuck me

i like a comment i heard on the radio the other day and that was NSW needs to pick a team of mungrels that will take it to the maroons. a team of tough forwards who will go out and try to belt the qld pack.

i like a mullen and campese half combination, i can respect that. hopefully we won't see pearce at the half, i just don't see him getting the job done.

Would he add more 'X factor ' to the Blues? I don't think so.

Fair call though, G Stewart is solid.
