Stu, it costs thousands to train legitimate service dogs & people have taken advantage of society's fear of offending someone who comes on a plane with a fucking chicken or other animal as their service animals. A fellow vet that I fish with received his service dog after a 7 year wait. He lost both his legs in Afghanistan & has been spending the last month with Jet a male black Labrador. They were deemed a good match & he officially received Jet this morning.

It's a happy happy day!

During Covid, I kept receiving test kits that I never ordered. I saw charges on my Medicare statement & knew someone was ripping off the government. I called Medicare with all the info ..the company name, shipping address & told them the charges were bullshit. $212...$168 etc.

They said thanks for calling with the info so I asked what happens next? She told me they document the abuse & I'm like yeah so... you won't pay them right? Oh no sir, they have already been paid! Wait a minute....they've been paid? She told me eventually we address it. Oh, OK sure.

Today I read that one of the companies I reported for sending me this shit was busted in Sunrise, FL. They had submitted over 17 million in bullshit Covid test kit claims & got paid almost 10 million. The owner is charged with one count of healthcare fraud.

Good to see a little bit of justice & karma once in a while.

I read where visitors coming to Vegas is down impacting hotel occupancy revenue; is that correct? Do you see signs of it?

Normally we're up in Michigan during the summer but the boss has a bunch of remodeling projects going on, so we'll be here until next March/April.

Today they added 6 more people to my Wheels on Meals route & it's so fucking depressing seeing the elderly/poor in need of so much. It really screws with your head. 

Right now in South Florida the seaweed is outrageous, stinky & unfishable. 

We went out this morning & spent the 2 hours in the ocean trying to keep seaweed off our lines/bait. Usually I'm pretty patient but this was just terrible. Haven't seen it this awful in years. 

Usually a little seaweed is a good thing as fish will be staged under it but the volume now is unreal. Not good.

Here's a breakdown of the race as I see it...

#1 has been away since September. Franco gets up for the 1st time on this girl for Chad Brown. She was previously trained by Christophe Clement & has won 2 of 12.

#2 ships in from Churchill & ran 3rd in her last try to #7 Proctor who ran 2nd. Hasn't won in a long time going 2 for 18.

#3 is my play. This girl has won 5 of 13 including 3 in a row & Saez gets onboard. Impressive 13-5-1-4 career record. Won by 4 in the slop last year at the SPA. Think Saez will try to steal the race on the lead. I don't expect to get 10-1 today.

#4  well bet in her last when she ran 2nd & picks up Lezcano for Linda Rice's brother Kevin. Doesn't seem to like the 1 1/16th distance running 6th in both tries. Lezcano on the turf is a factor.

#5 has been dull in her last 3 but has strong connections with Prat/Brown/Klaravich & is the 8/5 chalk here. Drops into Allowance company after running in stakes company against Sacred Wish & Gina Romantica. Very Dangerous sitting off the pace here. She'll be coming after my girl #3 Goats on a Tree.

#6 this girl will be in tough today for Tom Amoss. Has won her only try at this distance but that was at Sam Houston.

#7 lightly raced with a 4-2-1-0 record & picks up Irad. This girl won her first 2 races. Was rank in her last try but still ran a decent 2nd @ 3-1. 

We have a small 7 horse field here & I see a 3-7-5 finish
