Last week Cinn showed why it isn't ready to be taken to the next level of serious.Pitt took advantage of a needed/must win against Cinn knowing a Balt loss was 100% in the bag.

Early reports are all RBs are ready to go for Pitt and with Was enduring more injuries to an offense in pain,Pitt has the ability to attack by air and ground and do so at home.

    Pitt will rule this game.

I'm from pittsburgh and follow the steelers heavily. Cincy game made everyone believe the steelers are back to being a dominate team. Cincy sucks. The skins will cover and the ML wouldn't even be a bad play. Def like the over.

I am a Redskins fan and I am realistic. I don't think we're back, or that we'll do any damage like the very unrealistic Steelers fans I know. I take Skins here and points.

I am not saying we will win, but I am saying that RG3 will keep it close. I think Raplisburger will throw a pick, and RG3 will have to run his ass off.

Washington is going to take Pitt out back and beat the shit out of them.

    Moneyline Washington.

Pitt surrendering to many points and the offense has been mediocre so far this year. The new coordinator was a big step down and the offense doesnt fit Rothlsburglars style.

I like RB and his PIT but this is one game i believe RG3 will prove why he belongs in the NFL. Beat up PIT will have their hands full trying to contain him. WAS out right.

The Steelers overcame some really awful QB play to win last week. The good news for them, was their defense was solid and looked better than any other game they've played this year. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see RGIII try and stretch out Pittsburgh's aging defense. However in the final analysis, I feel the Steelers win win comfortably & cover.

how can you say the offense is a step down and dont fit big bens style?  Ben has a 100 passer rating, 4th in the league i think, on pace for 4800 passing yards and 30 tds 8 int if he keeps going as he is the first 6 games.  i think he as well as the offense is doing quite fine, if anything the defense an injuries is the reason they are .500, the offense has nothing to worry about at all

Something to think about, Steelers great d coor. Dick Lebeau has never lost to a rookie qb , thats almost like 50 years. not saying i feel easy cover at 4.5, but getting Pouncey back is huge as well as Mendenhall an Redman can only help.  heinz field is tough to play at, Rg3 is an exceptional talent an who knows, might pull it off, but its unlikely, Ill take big ben an that explosive offense G/L

offense isn't really the problem with pittsburgh this year.  Sure their run game hasn't been spectacular with all the injury problems, especially since they don't seem to realize that redman is not a good RB.  Their pass offense is actually 6th best in the league (which by the way is bad news for a terrible washington secondary).  They have been getting the ball out a lot quicker, which has led to fewer mistakes from ben and fewer sacks/hits. All in all, haley has given this offense a very efficient effective pass attack.

Also, it sounds like london fletcher may miss this game, so if dwyer is a go (and he has clearly looked like their best RB this year... reminds me a bit of bettis) the steelers should actually find more balance on offense.

The biggest problem for the steelers this year has been their defense ranking 18th against the pass and 22nd against the run.  I expect the skins to do plenty of running here and success can be found by pounding it up the middle on this new age, notsogreatagainsttherun pitt defense.

I'm still researching this one, but I placed an early bet on the skins +5 and I think that was as sharp a number as will be available on the skins.  I'm leaning hard towards hedging out though because I think pitt's strong passing game should be able to exploit that weak skins secondary and the steelers have been better with turnovers between these teams.

EXACTLY what i'm thinking.  we saw what good defensive minds do to rookie QBs when luck visited the jets and if there's one D-Cord who's as good at confusing and exploiting a rookie's inexperience it's lebeau.  This if nothing else has me leaning towards actually betting the steelers after i bet out of the skins.  I do have a hankering for a 3 team ML play though on the steelers, eagles, and broncos.

Nice insight!!  I think I will hammer on the over. If you want to hedge out maybe consider the over. Its reasonably priced at 47-1/2

Over whatever. OVer team total Pitt  and OVer team total WA And over Game

Actually he is 13-1 against rookie quarterback since 2004. The only rookie to beat his defense in that span was Troy Smith. Still going with Steelers!

I think R.G. III is in for a rude awakening...........

Steelers -4.5 - - but definitely not because of their offense.....

I wonder how RG will feel after letting that game slip away vs da Gmen?

He seems like a good levelheaded kid and he's a gamebreaker indeed.

Likng the points here for the Skins.
