laying off this one. the public will be jumping on sf but vince young might prove every one wrong because this is the second game of his new and improved career. this young qb will be the hope of the franchise and his pay will depend on how he does tell the end of this season. kinda like the az carolina game, people jumped on az when carolinas qb and coachs jobs where on the line and they got it done.

The loss of OT Joe Staley was huge, but the backup filled in admirably against the fierce IND rush.  The loss of CB Nate Clements is even more significant, with SF having to sign a waiver wire CB this week.  Vince Young is no Peyton Manning though, and the Titans best chance is on the ground. 

It was a rough 2 game stretch for SF on the road, but back at home they will be ready to go.  I was expecting the line to be around 7.  I'm surprised that its at 4-5.  The Niners will win by at least 10.

Im leaning Titans. I dont think Vince Young has ever lost a game. Maybe in high school, but I doubt it.

Im really cheering for Alex Smith, because before his draft and again this offseason, I argued against a friend that he will be a good qb. Too bad the niners are missing two of their starting o-linemen, and with Chilo rotating, thats three backups playing. Its not like they could run before and Tenn has a good run def. On the bright side if there is a qb used to playing behind a pathetic o-line its Alex Smith.

Clements is also out. He sucks, but at least he brought some swag to their defense. Anyone know what the word on Takeo Spikes is?

The Titans have not been very good on the ride against nfc/afc west teams. 7-10 ats and 4-13 su. This makes a little worried  with perenially overrated Jeff Fisher still coaching.

OK, you've flipped me, i like smith/davis/crabtree/gore at home to win by 4. The niner run D is near the top and should nuetralize the top-rated run offense of Tennessee...we shall see.
