yaaa this is a fuckin divisional game and the titans won their last 3.

these teams always play close and the titans are blowing out teams. just like the texans blew out buffalo the titans did as well only with their official qb.vince young will snatch the texans. the titans face arizona and indi for the next 2 weeks after this and they know damn well they will be losing both games sooo they will try their best to win this game and that means for them to keep it close. plus have you seen all the injuries that happened in the texans colts game?!? that should be a huge factor. 

Vegas thinks the Oilers are calling it a season this Monday.. or so they want you to think!

It ain't over 'til its over! Vince Young is going to be playing in the state he played College Football. Good ol' Texas. He isn't going to disappoint. Big Oil will thrive. As you can see last week, Tennessee is regaining their last season form and playing some inspired football. Their defense is hardening, offense is more versatile, and opponents Really don't want to play them.

The Texans did defeat the Titans earlier this year. That was with Kerry Collins at QB. They will have to change up their defensive schemes this time to contain Young and it won't be easy. This Texans team is much better than previous years, putting up fights against strong teams like Indy and Arizona. But it's not their time yet.

Slaton wants his job back and they're giving him the chance.  You can have the points.  2 Td's for Slaton and at least another passing TD for Schaub.  Tenn has been playing well, but I don't see them keeping it any closer than a TD in this one.

Texans win by a TD.  Tennessee a 67% public favorite and the line moves from +3.5 to +4.5.  Tennessee has been playing good football as of late, including Vince Young, but they have to win practically every game to smell the playoffs.  The Texans would love to spoil that opportunity for them.  Tennessee's secondary will not contain the Texan receivers and the Texans run D (allowing 76 ypg last 3) will hold Chris Johnson to around 100 yards.  I will take the Texans -3.5, -4.5, or -5.5. 

Tennessee - 20

Houston - 27

  This will be a very stiff test for Titans. Expect a very hard fought game, perhaps a FG. Normally, I would fully expect the Texans to win and cover. However, the resurgent Titans come highly motivated off of a rout win, of which they usually cover the following week again.

I'd get in early, I think this line shifts too 3 by kick off, Titans are hot, and DB's are getting healthy, 3 points feels right, for this game, Texans in flux at RB, and Titans are red hot, and have a great coaching staff.

Probably take Sunday off and just PLAY HOUSTON -4.5

No way in hell the Titans win this game against the Texans espically the Texans coming off a bye-week. Plus almost 70 percent going on the Titans. Give me the Texans by at least 2 touchdowns. The Texans defense is going to be the best defense the Titans have faced since going 3-0, Vince Young still hasn't impressed many people and I heard the Texans were working on some wild-cat wrinkles during the bye they also don't have any major injuries other than Owen Daniels. Remember folks Andre Johnson is a Titan-Killer, he's averaging close to 160 yards a game against them with 6 touchdowns. That secondary has been giving up long plays to guys like TO and the Bills. The Bills who came into the game against the Titans with only 5-10 minute play drives had 3 in the game. The Texans will contain CJ and hold him to 50 yards rushing for the first time this year, and Young will throw 3 picks and return to his usuall self. Texans by 10.

Being a Texans fan, I probably won't make a play on the game, but that line, coupled with the Titans coming off 3 wins, seems just too fishy for me.

If one wants to describe the Titans defense as improved then I guess we should call the Texans defense reborn.  Chris Johnson will not come anywhere close to the amazing performance he had in week 2.  VY does bring an extra threat to the QB position, but the Texans should be able to put Pollard in the box, as Heimerdinger's offense consists of primarily short to medium routes.   

Texans rarely play on the national stage, but when they do, they show up, but 4.5 is a tough one.  If the O/U is at 49 I really like the under.

Vince Young playing in Texas and Mr. Monday Night Keith Bullock may be to much for the Texans to handle

Titans +4.5: The Titans are the better team right now with Chris Johnson leading the league in rushing and taking the pressure off Vince Young, plus an improved defense. Even tho the public is pounding Tennessee, i'll take the points for a team on fire. Score: Titans 28-Texans 21 (3 units).
