this game means a lot for washington and the hopes of respect. They got beat by sorry detriot last week. Now the play the sorry bucs you could only gain 100 yards last week of total offense. When i say the bucs are bad i mean that. I look for the skins to rebound take the points. -7 with the skins

zorn, wash need a win or become the laughing stock of the nfl.tale of two lousy teams, which is worse?hard to say, but,i'm putting my money on wash, at home in desperation mode, even if the team does'nt have much faith in where they are going one has to believe that they'll take advantage of this chance, and at least start to get some fan support back(hopefully)before they start playing in an empty stadium!

Washington hasn't covered the spread for a reason.  They can't score!

Washington QB is not a winner.  Thats the whole problem with the team, not Zorn.  Talent alone Washington should cover this game however. Safer to go under in this game I think

i jumped on 7.5 as soon as it popped up. takin the buc wit the points. dont care how bad the bucs are...washington is just as bad, and 7.5 is nice in this one. a few have said it, and i've been observing it for the past few years: skins cannot score. i'll take my chances. best of fortune to u all.

Thought this was worth posting (not my words)

    TAMPA +9

These teams are both desperate for a win as the Bucs enter 0-3 and the Skins at 1-2. They know that their division hopes will vanish with a loss here. And yes, Tampa Bay is one of a few teams laying claim to worst in the NFL thus far. But the Skins laying 9 points? What? The Redskins just lost to a team that had lost 19 straight games! Prior to that, they barely beat St. Louis as a 10 point favorite. That St. Louis win came with some luck as the Rams (who have lost 13 straight by the way) fumbled the ball inside the Washington 10 yard line late in the game. So, the Skins could easily be 0-3, and they haven't surpassed 17 points scored in a game yet this season. So an ugly loss to an 0-19 team, and a come-from-behind two-point win over an 0-13 team warrants this line? Change will be blowing in the wind in Washington as Bucs’ first-year head coach Raheem Morris is going with QB Josh Johnson in this one. While a QB making his first start may scare some folks, Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez have shown that the old stigma assigned to inexperienced QBs is just that - old. While Johnson is not of the caliber of those QBs, his start does not automatically make the Bucs a no-play here. The Redskins have not been able to get it done in this spot as they are 1-7 ATS against teams with a .333 winning percentage or less and 0-5 ATS as a favorite of six or more. As mentioned, the Washington offense has been no where to be found. They have produced just 40 points on the season or 13 per game. The Redskins are on a 3-14-3 ATS run against teams with a losing record. This line indicates that the Redskins are a much, much better team. But, when are they going to show it? The Bucs are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games following three straight losses and I'm going with them here.

    Washington - 37                    Tampa Bay - 7
    Redskins -9                   over 37
After last weeks wake up call vs the Lions, the Skins win and cover at home.  The offense comes alive on Sunday.

If Washington stays at 7 or 7.5 I will tease down to a pick, and match it with New Orleans at a pick as well.

I wouldn't even bet on this game....both teams are very unstable...this will be the first time we see Josh Johnson start for Bucs and he did ok last week when he came in.  Z is just an awful coach and we won't know if Portis will be playing.

I agree with Col Jim... classic trap game.... public climbs all over the TB and they get blown out...

line movement 2 points sold me alone...

but for the game.... Washington hung tough with the Gmen, won the game against STL even though they could not get into the red zone.... and blew it against Detroit, on the road... come on, Detroit was bound to win one....

now this team, which has a veteran defense is embarrassed and back home

and who are they playing? Tampa Bay.... a team that got smashed (at home) by the Giants, and a 4th string qb taking over on the road...

Washington is embarrassed, with their backs against the wall, this is a statement game, they will put up points...
