Tampa +8.5 / Saints win but don't cover !   WHO DAT  

The Bucs have been competitive in the past, playing in New Orleans. The Saints are coming off a short week after beating their arch rivals, the "Dirty Birds", and gaining a playoff spot. While it could be argued that the Saints might win the division, with a win and a Falcon loss. It's also a very unlikely scenario. With an shot at a wildcard themselves, I expect the Bucs to cover & win in this spot. Once the Bucs start to assert themselves in their quest, I can  see the Saints pulling their starters, in preparation for wildcard game next week.

Bucs do not match up well with the Saints as evidenced in their last matchup.  Maybe Bucs put together a better effort this team around, but I still see them losing by a couple scores.  Now it's gone down to a better value at 7.  I doubt it will move lower than that but i think it's a fair enough price for the superbowl champs at home to close the season on a positive note vs. a team who is still a few years away.....

Last year at this time in the season, Coach Payton has pulled out his starters and loss some games you would have thought they would win and the Bucs were one of those games. Senseless game then but in this spot w/ a chance to win a division and have Home Field advantage, I expect my team to hit hard in the first half and first half only.  Win but not cover.

Agreed. I like the 2H over/under on GB/CHI & NYG/WASH depending on the halftime scores... this game... it's hard to tell. I might look at the 2H over/under on this game depending on how bad ATL is crushing CAR by then.
