Atlanta loses this one.  They are starting to fade.  Ryan played well, but New Orleans exposed them.

It's going to be a tough game for TB but the Falcons defense is atrocious. The Bucs have distinct match-up advantages all over the place and their run D will not lay an egg like Monday night.

Saints got lucky all game. If Boley picks off Brees with 5 mins left the games over. Matt Ryan gets better and better every week its amazing!!! Roddy White leads the NFL in recieving yards and he should burn Barber all day for about 150. When can we start mentioning Roddy when we talk about top WRs ?????  Plus, its in the Dome. Falcons will not lose to an NFC South team at home. Mike Smith will have this team ready to play! It will be interesting to see Ryan progress through the weeks with must win games. Falcons will get off to an early start at home and build off of that. Falcons Run D is not as bad as they played against the Aints. They will bounce back easily.
 
Also, when we beat the Bucs by more than 15, we will have the point tie breaker over them.
 
Believe it or not Falcons can still win the division. Falcons win out which is highly possible and the Panthers lose to Giants and Saints(in N.O. where teams in South are undefeated at home against division)
 
 
Hmm i cant wait to see how many people call me a "homer" like they do for most games but when we win they are silent and never come back to the boards.

Sorry dude. Had to say it. That being said, I like the Falcons here. Homefield seems to be huge in the NFC South. I will mention Rowdy Roddy White among the best receivers in football. Matt Ryan seems to play better every week. I wouldn't worry about how the Falcons D looked last week. The Saints make every defense look bad in that dome in New Orleans.

You are a homer, the Falcons will go down this week because they don't match-up well with the Bucs at almost every position.

Luke McCown has gotten most of the first-team practice reps this week and it appears Garcia will be listed as questionable on Friday. Still, this is a big game for Tampa after its Week 14 loss. Expect Garcia to start against the Falcons.

Dont be so sure on TB if they loose there QB. they have Luke taking 1st team reps. Now I know you TB backers will have to at least pay attention to Garcia Injury. and ATL Rushing attack is similar to Car. and Yes ATL is a diffrent team at HOME. they lost to TB early this year and some say that NO exposed ATL. I saw a YOUNG team that should NOT be in any of these games after last years HORRIBLE season yet there keeping it close. the WR are playing hard for there young RB and now you see how important Mike THE BURNER TUrner was to SD...Def liking ATL here....

We have the better : QB Ryan, WR White, RB Turner, FB Mughelli, LE Abraham, O-Line, Special Teams. We arguably have the better corners.

Not only do we favor in them positions but we also favor in the following matchups : Roddy White Vs. (i dont care what corner sticks him, you could double him for all i care), Our Run Defense against a weak run game in Dunn and Williams. And Garcia is going to have to get it done through the air which is alot to ask for.

I'm hoping by the end of this day, Roddy White has close to 1450 yards so he can make a run at 1700.

So yeah, The Bucs dont really match up to well with the Falcons.

The Bucs with Trueblood, Faine, Sears, Joeseph, and Penn are lightyears better than the Falcons OL. To even suggest that the Falcons have better cornes shows how homer you are, there's no reason to even continue this rediculous discussion.

Bucs win becuse the Falcon defense is atrocious on every level, DL, LB's, and will field one of the worst secondaries in the league.

First I just want to say I'm leaning on the Falcons, mainly because its a division rivalry and the Bucs CRUSHED them the first time out, so I can see the Flacons really getting up for this one at home.  Now, I would like to thank atlantasports for making the falcon thread entertaining each week.  This homer bets his favorite team every week.  That's some serious homer stuff!!!! He also makes some pretty incredible homer statements such as "the other team that beat us got lucky" or "the falcons corners are arguably better than the buc corners" LMFAO!!!!!

thanks atlanta, U ROCK!!!!!!!  Nothing personal dude, i just enjoy your homerness. ATL is 8-5 ATS this year so I guess your up overall on betting your favorite team. Yay homer strategy!!!!

Last 3 games average score . Falcons 30 to 24 ---- Bucks 28 to 26.

If I'm a Bucs fan I'm not likin' the way that Ronde' Barber couldn't tackle at all last week.  Those young Panther running backs made him look . . . well . . . his age.

And if Garcia isn't playing, to me, that's a pretty big deal.

Throw in the fact that the Falcons, Matt Ryan, and every team at home in the NFC South has been money, and I'm liking the Falcons quite a bit in this game.

I wouldn't say, by any means, that they outmatch the Bucs at every position, I just think the circumstantial evidence leans their way.

This is a really tough game for Tampa Bay to come and play on a short week, and after what happened to them on monday.
