LOL best team in the NFC is never a 9 point dog.  Sorry bud.

Falcons win this pretty easily.  Tampa is not a contender.

    31-17 Falcons

This would appear to be "Exposure Day" for the Bucs

Wins were accumulated vs #32 SOS

Saints & Steelers the barometer - Bucs lost to both

Falcons beat Saints and played Steelers tough-than won 4 in row

Falcons buried Arizona and Bucs squeeked by them.

Public is betting the Bucs as value being 3-0 on the road.

By Kickoff it should be Falcons -7

  • Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

  • Thanks Waz44... Good points.

BUT... I'll buck those trends and take the points. I can't trust ATL -9 at this point. I think this game stays under 40 points so taking the +9 to me might just get me the ATS win here. I'm not saying that TB wins SU but that I like the points cushion.

  • So the Bucs beating both Cincinnati and Cleveland means nothing when Atlanta had trouble beating both teams eh?

Atlanta has also only beat teams by a wide margin (10 or more) twice this season. First was that 41-7 smoking of Arizona and then the 20-10 grind-out win against Cleveland. This team barley got by San Francisco at home (in a 1pm slot, no less) and then almost gave one up to Cincinnati two weeks ago. Palmer threw for over 400 yards and 3 TDS in that game. Why can't Freeman have a big game against a divisional rival, of all teams?

Sorry, I'll take those points comfortably. Tampa may not be the best NFC team, but they aren't going to lose badly to an Atlanta team that's been overrated since the season started.

Public is betting the Bucs as value being 3-0 on the road.

By Kickoff it should be Falcons -7

  • Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Tampa may not be the best NFC team, but they aren't going to lose badly to an Atlanta team that's been overrated since the season started.

this spread is ridiculously high as Bucs always play the Falcons tough.  this is also a huge revenge game for Freeman & the Bucs since both of last year's matches were close losses for them.  in fact, the falcons had to win the 1st match @ Atlanta in the closing seconds and in the second match they won in Tampa because rookie Freeman threw a bad pick in the 4th quarter.

this tampa team should not be overlooked.  they're young but they're well coached / talented squad.  and now they'll have the X-factor in RB Blount.

TAMPA PLUS POINTS / POSSIBLE ML PLAY

I am surprised to see this line north of  7.  It just feels like Atlanta runs this Bucs squad off the field.  But 9 is to much.

Tend to agree with Mr. Insight.  Appears to me that Vegas is baiting TB backers with that "alluring" line.  TB has played some real high caliber teams lately. :)

The books are trying to get all of the Tampa Bay money they can with this line.  Don't be foolish and take the bait.

    Atlanta -9

Matt Ryan is 16 and 1 last 17 at home when starting for the Falcons. Tbay is getting better give them another year. Not sure i want to lay the 9 though so im backing off this one.

Just like the Steelers without Big Ben and the Saints without Reggie (or a Defense) WORKED the Bucs, the Falcons will do the same at home here.  Although the Bucs D has been solid, they will NOT be able to contain Roddy White or Michael Turner and the Falcons have the division AND the Big Game in their sights.

    Tampa Bay - 13
    Atlanta - 39
