Take the Rams.  Redskins offense is not good enough to be giving 10 points to anyone.  In other words they stink.  That is why the Rams have a shot.  Yes, even the Rams.

Neither team deserves much betting support. Last season, the 'Skins started at 6 and 2, before self destructing at 8-8. Meantime, the Rams stunk up the joint!  My point is last season in week #6, the hapless Rams surprised a  shocked Washington team, to the tune of 19-17 as 12 point dogs in D.C.! However, over the last 2 plus seasons, the 'Skins have won 75% of their revenge games!  The line issued in 'Vegas has the 'Skins as 10 pt favorites. It's not that the 'Skins are that good-it's just that the pathetic Rams are that bad!!

thanks for being realistic.  Personally I would play the over.   I"m thinking the Skins will really get off on this game.  I'm a die hard dallas fan, but I really saw some bright spots with the Skins D.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Wash cover in this game, but I wouldn't bet on it.  Wash may look like SB champions when this is over.  St. Louis is that Bad.  I look for Wash to go 9-7 this year.  Wash is definatey not an awful team. and I personally hate them

we will win the game but we just do not have the offense to lay double digits to anyone

thanks for being realistic. Wash is definatey not an awful team. and I personally hate them

what's up break. long time no see.  u brought up a good point.  I'm thinking the Wash d may get 7-10 points on Def turnovers alone.  this might be the game that big Albert haynesworth looks like the 100 mill man.  Too bad wash can't set up an exclusive contract with St. Louis like they are the Wash Generals and play them every week

This is a perfect over game.......Wash to start the season going over 37 in the first two games.   St. Louis will find points in the game,  Wash D will set up a few........and Portis will have a big run against this bad run D.

One interesting thing to note is Steve Spagnoula is now the coach of the Rams.  Last week I underestimated Rex Ryan against the Texans, even though Baltimore's defense gave them fits in their previous meetin.  Last season the Redskins struggled against the Giants and Spags D.  Jason Campbell is also 1-4 ats when favored by a td or more.

The thing is its the Rams. Even Julius Jones got over 100 yds last week.  Plus the Rams won the last game they played against eachother and that has to be embaressing.

People seem to forget, these are all still NFL teams - anyone can beat anybody at any time. Almost anytime the spread goes into double digits that guarantees a dog covering - and yes, I know what the Lions & Rams did last week - but how about the Bills & Raiders?

I'm taking the Lambs - Redskins just aren't powerful enough to cover 10 points.....

Yep, Spag from his Eagles-Giants days knows how to stop the Redskins offense. He probably doesn't have enough firepower to win the game but he should be able to cover the 9.5.
    Washington - 20                    St Louis - 13
    Rams +9.5                      under 37
I'm a glutton for the under today

i like the fact that spags knows the Redskins well.  I also think that when Washington is expected to play well, they usually under perform.  I'll take the 10 points.
