maybe getting away from home will help the Niners regroup and stop giving away late leads in games.... I don't know. have to think a little more about this one. No doubt whee the public money will be going though.

Then again, the Giants may blow the 9ers out. With Pittsburgh on the schedule next, they could possibly be peeking ahead. The 9ers can't hold leads. Which means that Martz is not doing his job well.

SF D is awful.  Manning is picking up his game, except for the pic last week.  I've got Giants 35 SF 10.

SF should be able to score some points on the Giants even though it is at Giants stadium. Over initial lean.

Giant's by far...I was expecting this line to open at least -13.  I hope people pound the niners believing that 10.5 is a lot of pts, but this will not be enough.  But I believe this will not happen as the public will be on NYG and cash.  This will be similar to their meeting last year when the Giants won 33-15 at home. And the Giant's losing on Monday night doesn't make it any better for SF.

last time these 2 teams met ELI played well...
 
I like the Giants bouncing back at home against an OK 49ers team....
 
Jacobs will pound that defense and ELI will play well enough to cover....
 
I think they win by 14 at least....

No one seemed to mention the West Coast team traveling East here? That was all I heard on the San Diego thread. Interesting...

I normally follow the Giants in 1st half plays, unfortunately I took a hit from them last week on Mon night.

The Giants front seven should be able to put pressure on JT to make him force throws. I just gotta worry about the Giants defense containing Gore.

Well let's see If they can go back to covering the 1st half plays..

The 49ers are wrapping a tough stretch of four games against playoff-caliber teams, and draw a Giants squad that should be fired up for this one. San Francisco's offense will find little room against New York's solid D, and a trip to the East Coast for the 49ers won't help matters much. If Manning's chest injury gives him trouble, that will work in San Francisco's favor, but the defense still has to stop the Giants' tough ground game. Overall, the Giants are just too much for a sliding Niners' club to handle. Giants 31, 49ers 13

I feel that the Giants will be very grumpy after an embarrassing loss (on nat'l tv) to Cleveland.  Though the the Browns played an inspired game and I give them full credit for taking that game; that shit is still embarrassing.  Especially for the defending champs.

The Niners certainly don't have the QB(s) that the Browns field 'under center'.  And for that matter, nor do they have the receiving core.  I believe the Niners will put up a fight in the first half, but once their O and D lines begin to tire, it will be a 'Manning to Plaxico' offensive clinic.

I see the Giants covering these points (10.5) and the two teams playing over the current total (46.5).  Final score:

Now I can easily see my SF Niners letting this game go early or late or whatever, but I'll make a SMALL play on the Niners +10.5

Double digit dogs have been profitable this year.  NYG is coming off a short week, and the 49ers fight every game its just their youth and inexperience which is holding them back from breaking out.  They wont give up though.
