SD has problems playing at 10AM on east coast. They are going to run into a very nasty Giants squad coming of 3 losses.

    Giants first half is $.

Why are they favored? Lets see thier home and the Chargers have a weak defense that dosen't like to get dirty. They struggled with the Raiders last week. Lt lost 2 steps and thier front 4 hasn't gotten pressure on anyone. Ya, the GMEN have a really soft secondary, but the line is right. Lets face it, if the GMEN can't close the deal on this game, I think they go 7 and 9 and miss the playoffs. Gmen win a ugly contest. Lots of penalties and mistakes, Gmen 24 Super Chargers 23.

I'd buy you a beer if i could, cuz you stole my thoughts..

This Charger team isn't the team that everyone is waiting to show up each sunday.  They lack a pass rush, and still rely on LT, who's showing his age by his inconsistent act.  LT = Jacobs, Sproles=Bradshaw, Rivers>Eli, Giants D line> SD O line, Giants at home=huge advantage.  I was blinded last week by the Eagles camoflauge play at Oakland, but the Gmen are an overall better unit.  The whole is greater than the sum of its parts somehow, and the Giants pull it out in the 4th with clock control and a late score.

    THAT'S A 10-4 JJ

SD has not scored under 23 points this year and has averaged
     26 vs. Denver,Pitt and Balt.

Rivers has tossed 11 TD 's in his last 5 outings vs. NFC

Giants have won 5 straight vs. AFC

OAK scored 16 on SD ,Giants will be 2 TD's better than that.

Giants typically come back with a vengeance after blowout losses.

(last year after Dallas loss n' Browns loss )

After 3 losses in a row , Coughlin HAS cracked the whip.

Jacobs stock is on the rise,as is Rivers vs Giants soft secondary.

Turner never had much luck at Meadowlands with Deadskins.

With better team, pro bowl QB ,opportunity for payback is now or never ?

This should be an all out slugfest.

OVER 47 it is , with a main $ back up tease over 41 coupled with a later play.

big giants fan, & i have no clue what to make of this.  Part of me feels like all the injuries in the D have caught up & I cant figure why the pass rush isnt there.

Another part agrees many points will be scored with the gmen losing again.  Ely's timing looks way off all of the sudden & jacobs is not moving the line like he should.

SD's D has looked very soft; but their O is incredible at times and incredibly crap other times.

Gun to my head: Gmen.  not sure I would lay 4.5....maybe -3.  They really should win this by 6 or more, but....my bias has taken over.

Huge chargers fan, but concerned on this one. Gmen are due and SD defense has been terrible. However, the offense is still capable so I am taking Chargers+4 and praying.

    Good luck everyone!

Very high scoring game here.  Both defense's are struggling.  I think it's time for Eli to step up here, though.  They should win this by at least 6.  Taking them as a 4.5 point favorite.

Let us remember that this story carries the epic storyline of how these 2 QBs came into the league with Eli having a temper tantrum about going to shitty San Diego and forcing them to trade him to NY in exchange for Rivers.

Now let me inform you of how solid the G-Men are NOT on defense. Their LBs have no depth whatsoever, and their secondary is uncapable of shutting down anything. They can even make McNabb look 10 years younger.

I say Rivers lights up that weak ass secondary and squeaks out a victory in the end. I smell trouble with Eli and company, and their 3 consecutive losses is more than just a temporary downslide. Theyre just not that great anymore, and Philly is looking to claim the division once again.....
