Exactly- surprised it opened so high. First gut reaction is that I would have been on the under if this was in SD or NO either. Kind of scares me- first reaction is usually the public/wrong play. More research. Both these defenses have been playing better and both offenses are weaker on the road. More research

don't be too sure atlanta... not saying i like NO... but this road trip for SD is... to say it's brutal is an extreme understatement... last year this game involved two east coast teams... this year it involves a west coast team that already had to do an east coast trip the previous week... fucking brutal!
 
regarding the under... i'm not gonna give away any secrets because this is simply a trend i hope i can ride for several years to come... i will only say... remember last year?... and leave it at that... don't care about what kind of offense or defense either team has... i only care about a trend that is 1-0... going on 10-0...

I'm liking NO here.  They play pretty well at home, only fluke was MNF vs. Minn.  NO beat TB, Oak, SF and should have won vs. Minn.  All those teams have good backs, which is SD's weapon.  NO should be able to neutralize LT and I don't think Rivers is good enough to beat NO. And this might be a circle the calender game for NO (see last years score).

SD also doing East coast, home, East coast, to almost East coast.  Seems like a lot of travel and its a morning game.

Public all over SD.

Things I don't like about NO: 1) no Bush....  but I never thought he was that important to NO's offense but still he is Bush. 2) NO allowed Ferrote to catch them at the end with his passing, so can Rivers do it too?

I do not see an angle in this game.  Maybe Drew Brees beating the team that let him go.???...

I want to take the Saints.  They should have some of their significant players back in uniform.

Colston had a disappointing come back last week.... even though last years game in england was a low scoring game, i don't see the chargers being able to slow down the saints. look like shockey may be a game time decision.  even with bush out.  time for deuce to step and show he can get it done still!!  Go saints!

If they keep traveling east, the Chargers will wind up in China soon. Still...San Diego is a good team and they have no alternative to regroup if they want to make post season play. They were playing well in Buffalo until that late interception.
The grass field may help.

Stecker is not a bad back, LT is not 100%, SD Pass D is around 30/31. Colston not on the injury report anymore full week of pracitce and some game action last weekend albeit a no show. SD a lot of travel. I like Brees to have time and light it up, no Merriman.

Shockey missing shouldn't be a problem....Billy Miller is a hosssss, first TD rec in Texans history 19-10 vs the glitz and glamor cowgirls .

These comments you make in some of these game threads are amazing (such as the Pats getting really lucky to win on Monday night). This entire post is meaningless, because it took you till 9 hours later to figure out it wasn't being played in New Orleans.

I don't see San Diego being a huge public play here. The Saints have become one of the largest public darlings in the NFL. Percentages should be pretty even on this one. Lean to the Chargers -3 but no idea what to expect with this game in London. Gotta pass on this one

neither team is gonna light up anything... NO will win because this travel stretch for SD is ridiculously brutal (i assume it is the worst two game road stretch any team has endured in the history of the NFL... other than pre-season)... but neither team will score many points... Saints and under are very obvious...

Was in Wembley last year for my Gigantes and if it rains (hey we is talkin' england now !) Field will be slopfest like last year...Team buses stuck in ridiculous traffic 10 times worst than the Meadowlands and can't see jet lag,SD time difference helping Norv T who sucks anyway  ! NO wins making its move much like G-men did after slow start.Brees + 3 ? By Jove off to the bank   I go ! tally ho' let the Guinness flow'

As a big chargers fan I'm not sure how they will stop the Saints. There is a revenge angle for Brees to light up a SD team that just let him go, and he faces that replacement. This is a pretty even game but my gut says the Saints get it done.

I believe they will make sure the field is in incredible shape for this game. They were embarassed last year with the field conditions and they wont let it happen again if they want to keep having NFL games.
