not a Pitt fan by any means, but after watching PItt in their last 2 games I'm stil not impressed by Mike Tomlins coaching.  Especially after that fiasco last season in the playoffs against Jax.

In a pickem.....I would take Tenn +1 and the under.  I can easily see Tomlin calling for a 2 point conversion and getting stuffed. Yes, I know Albert Haynesworth is out, but I really don't give a damn.  Pitt should have lost to Dallas (Dallas really brought it to PItt nice and good most of the game ) and barely beat Baltimore. THeir luck has to run out sometime.  I'm not sold on Pitt making the SB either.  They are going to have to show me a lil more than they have.

steelers are on a roll and should continue their streak vs the titans in a defensive slugfest.

    ~steelers -1.5~

I am sold on Pittsburgh. In my opinion they're the best team in the AFC and the best team in the NFL. The schedule they have played this year has been ridiculously hard and they have been able to overcome their injuries all year. Each week they somehow find a way to win. Like I've said the last two weeks, I don't care how they do it or how it happens. A win is a win and a cover is a cover. Both of those trends continue this week for Pittsburgh. That defense is not going to let down and it will keep them in every game they play this year. No Haynesworth for this game and Vanden Bosch is still expected to be out. Those are some big injuries for the Titans. As a Steelers fan I'm more afraid to play the Colts than I am the Titans in the playoffs.

    Love the Steelers

but hesitantly like them -1.5...so much better on the road thats why i hate that we have home field as ridiculous as it sounds...very rowdy fans just not that great at home and its been like that for awhile now...with that...i cant give you a weather report this week, so sorry about that

but if there is one person that scares me running the football against the steelers more than Mclane from Baltimore its Chris Johnson and LenDale White, but Johnson most of all that guy is hands down one of the most athletic players in the league...give him open field and punch his ticket for 6, The Pineapple Boy is gonna have to be everywhere come 1 o clock sunday..GO TROY!

THeir luck has to run out sometime.  I'm not sold on Pitt making the SB either.  They are going to have to show me a lil more than they have.

You're obviously not a PITT fan if you're not impressed my Tomlin...this team is not only the best team in the AFC as Stalker mentioned but I would even argue that the are the best in the NFL  right now and I hate this team and that big lug of a QB. But one thing I do respect is great defense and solid football. Tenn isn't even in the same league as the Steelers defensively speaking and I'll take the better QB here too. They don't have to show anything more...you take TENN and we'll talk after the game. Good Luck!

Tenn is overrated. Stuff the run and you win. That's what Pitt does the best. I don't care that Collins lit up one of the worst secondaries in the league when they played the Bears. Who hasn't. I saw an initial line of Tenn -3 and I won't be surprised when it hits Pitt-3.

Everyone is out to get Pitt. Everyone Cries about how they think every game was the game. Why not roll with the trend? if the Zebra Men are on there team they you might as well roll with the Boyz. I have to take Pitt here. Tomlin in a Proving people wrong Mood. I love how they feed off the D. Trust me we can sit here and cry about what Pitt did to our wallets but looking at what they done You have to give them credit if your a football fan. and I must Add Pitt has been an a dominating Underdog. I see they turned into the Fav real Quick Bc  The Smart money is going to roll on pit being an Underdog but since the Swap I still Like Pitt. Tenn Looks like they got Exposed and how about them Texans!!! Look for Big Ben to have a nice game and look for The Zebra to help them out. GL to ALL. Just know this stop crying about Pitt. Lets move on.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the key injuries to the Titans' defensive line.  Losing Haynesworth and VendenBosch will be a big blow to the Titans' ability to stop the run and generate a pass rush.

Yes, the Titans are 6-1 at home this year.  But, does anyone know what the Steelers' record is on the road this year  Yep, you guessed, they are 6-1 on the road.

This game matches two great defenses against each other but I will give the edge to the Steelers' defense due to the injuries up front for TEN.

Also, in tight games with good defenses, you have to look at the QB play.  I will place my money on Big Ben over Collins anytime, anywhere.

    Pick:  Steelers -1.5

Get it before the rest of the public pushes the line to -3.

    One more point...

The Titans just lost to the Texans.  Yes, it was a road game but the Titans only put up 12 points against the Texans.  If the Titans play anywhere close to that level against the Steelers, they won't score more than 10 points.

    Again, pick: Steelers.

    Tennessee - 24                       Pittsburgh - 19
    Titans +1                     over 34.5
Steelers coming off an emotional road victory, tells me that this just might be a time to jump back on the Titans to rebound off an upset loss to the Texans. Fisher will have his Titans ready for war.
Were the Titans looking ahead to this one??? maybe.

Steelers will win this battle of the defenses.  They have a better D, a far better QB and a much better receiving core.  Titans have the home advantage their side or else we'd see this one at Pitt -5 or -6.

I wanted to pound the Steelers the moment I watched Haynesworth's knee buckle... easiest pick of the week.

Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch are both out for this game. Thats the Titans best player and anchor of the run D, as well as their best pass rusher and a top 4-5 player in KVB.  With their best 2 D-lineman out the Titans will struggle stopping the run like normal. Big Ben has been playing without much run support lately and has still won, now they have another way to gain yards.

As for the Titans offense, Collins is not that good, most of us never thought he was but the rest of the team was so good it didn't matter.  The difference here is that the Steelers match up better to stop a speed rushing attack (Chris Johnson) than most teams because they use the 3-4 and have several good linebackers who are faster than DE's .  Therefore Collins will be forced to make plays vs. the best pass D in the league, expect some turnovers, which will kill you against a team as good as PIT.

Can someone with some form of intelligence tell me, why most are saying the Steelers are overrated? They were dealt the hardest schedule in league history and they continue to march on in to the playoffs against stiff competition, The funny thing is most of you haters on a good football team just hate because they just beat your squad.

Got on board with PIT -1
With the Titans D being beat up, I think we should see the Steelers ground and pound all day. Also if it is close going into the 4th, PIT D and Big Ben will be the factors in taking this game.

    GL to all

Also, just checked the In-Depth Matchup Information
Who has TEN beaten that is good? HOU (if I remember Schuab was injured). IND (I know the Colts were pretty beaten up that week) MIN (not that good of a road team) and thats it. PIT is definatly the strongest team TEN has matched up with all season.
