Yeah, low total, because Pitt is playing.  Great OVER game.

I like the PATS here, NE has definetly found it's rhythm on offense

Good news for the Pats, left tackle Matt Light will not be suspended for this week's game.  Agreed that the over seems a better play that a side here.  Weather may not be perfect but should not be too bad.

Tomorrow: Cloudy skies with a few showers later in the day. High around 50F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

i'm going to the game, so i am concerned about driving back in inclement weather absolutely wasted.....

its looking like any precipation at the absolutely earliest start will be after 6 and it will only be cold rain... temperature not supposed to be below freezing

    let's slam that over!!

oh, and i get to meet the cheerleaders... i'll  take pictures...

Hmmm, Cassel's back to back 400y+ games vs the Steeler's #1 Defense...

Obviously, that streak is coming to a screeching halt.

But New England should still put up few more points than the not-so-good QB Big Ben.

As long as Patriots limit their turnovers by protecting the ball, I'll take

    NE -1  (mid size play)

I'd love to take last Monday's night's routing of the 3rd ranked passing defense as something to consider here.... Better offense will be beat great defense.

But that was Brees. With no running attack.
Can Cassell do that against the 1st ranked pass D? And very good run D of the Steelers?

Alot of things to consider, but leaning Steelers here...

Hate to root against the home team while i'm at the game... hammered

IS CASSELL THAT GOOD? I TRUST DEFENSE THIS LATE IN THE YEAR. I THINK CASSELL SHOWS HIS TRUE COLORS THIS WEEK. NE A TOUGH PLACE TO PLAY AT BUT THE JETS HAD NO PROBLEM IN NE. SO FAR PITT KNOWS HOW TO WIN THE BIG GAME. LOOK FOR BEN TO EXPOSE PATS 2NDARY. DELTHA NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER...I THINK THIS IS A TRAP GAME WITH NE BEING THE FAV.

THE GAME of the week  ! As many seem excited about Cassel's play, it's usually better D that prevails. There is no comparison between Pitt's superior D and NE defense recently giving up 28 at Miami and 34 to JETS.Most likely NE will score more than 10 points surrendered recently by Pitt vs Cincy n' SD .Still, Cassel has'nt faced a Dominating D as this one n' figure Roth B / Parker to score at least 21on Patsies.

Steelers win straight up. Patriots secondary is still suspect and they cant tackle. Moore is a capable back if Parker cant go today. Ben will get the ball downfield to Ward and Holmes.Cassell will be running for his life. Pittsburgh defense is still tough and will decide this game.

Steelers vs. Patriots -1 (3 units) - Matt Cassel knows this offense, and its showed over the past few games.  He is finally clicking with Moss and Welker as well, they are getting more rhythm and finally on the same page.  Pittsburgh will be without 2 good lineman, and probably Willie Parker too... but then again they are used to that.  Melwelde Moore will take FWPs place in the lineup and can shoulder the load.  Santonio Holmes returns from a concussion suffered last week... I predicted a seaon-high game for him last week and it was happening until that huge hit.  Watch out for him this week too, he has been more involved lately now that teams are focusing on Nate Washington and Hines Ward as well.

I am new to this site..  I am a die hard Steeler fan but wouldnt bet a penny on them right now.  They will continue to have a tough time scoring points and I believe they will struggle against the NE pass game.  Forget what they did last week against the Bengals, comon it was the Bengals..
Cassell is playing more confident than Ben right now.

Go with the home team in this one.  NE will win it by at least a FG in a fairly low scoring game. (watch weather)

    NE 17 - 14

Ya'll ready for an old fashioned asskicking? Pitt getting points? AWESOME!! Pitt has a good record with the toughest schedule in the NFL this year.....the pats literally have the EASIEST. The best team they played was an out of sync colts team, and they LOST...at HOME! I also love how everyone is now jocking matt cassell. I'm so sure. This guy lights up the 26 and 27th ranked secondarys and people are talking about free agency? what a diss to the head coach over there, ol what's his name. Mr cassell is facing the by far the best defense he has faced in his LIFE. He will get punched in the mouth and picked all day. Today: Matt goes back to his cassell!!!!
