Nike signs Vick again, don't know what is worse vick's actions, torturing  the dogs, for which i believe he is sorry, alot of good that does for the dogs, or nike reversing their field and trying to make a buck, after denouncing him 4 yrs ago.  fuck the whole bunch of them, corporate, the nfl, and the shit-ass player like vick.

OK Grinderman, you made me research this one a little more and I have to agree the Eagles have to much going for them to lose the opener to an inferior Rams squad. Reid has done pretty well against NFC WEST TEAMS. I'll tack on another touchdown and field goal to the Eagles score and make it an;

Eagles - 27                               Rams - 16 outcome.

I see the Eagles scoring early and often on the Rams "turf".

I can also see the Eagles scoring on both sides of the ball in this one. The Rams should manage some garbage time points but this will be decided by halftime.

My guesstimate is Philadelphia-38 St.Louis-20

u guys are MORONS   if u think the Eagles are going to BLOW OUT the rams.   Vick isn't much better than Sam Bradford now.  I would take Sam Bradford over the next 6 years over Vick.  Yeah I said it.  Bradford is better than Vick was at this point of his career in year 2.

Ya have to go with the Eagles on this one I think.  Vick just signed a huge contact and with all the bad press from that, he has to come out firing.  Once you add the fact that Philly is the better team, this is a no brainer. Vick is going to silence his critics on this one...prove his worth.

I would think 38 - 10 is reasonable

This is a upset. The Eagles loss their last 3 games last season. It would have been 4 if the NYGs held on. Their O line stinks and if Vick gets hurt, their #3 QB steps in whoever that is. Vick is a turnover machine. Coach Spagnuolo has a defense head, he'll have the Rams ready for him. Philly has alot of hype going for them. They wanted to be called America's team, but it was taken so they settled for the dream team. This first weekend is going to be a embarrassment for the fans of Philly. Homedog SU win.

Eagles should prevail here just to much offense for the rams to contain where as they offensively just don't have it to beat this team ...rams are up and coming and ppl love them to win this division and even that is a stretch for me ..i'll give the rams 1 more year til i can say they can tango with the big boys ...right now they can't ..philly wins by 10

I feel like the gametape is out on how to stop Vick...

Spy mentioned it above... they blew the last 3 games of last season where all the defenses did was blitz blitz blitz....

Spagnola is a defensive genius and I'm excieted to see what he's got cooked up for Sunday....

on the other side of the ball McDaniels is the new o-coordinator for the Rams... he's probably the best in the league at developing qbs.... Bradford will play a safe managed ball control game throwing wideout screens that are McDaniels signature....

The Philly defense will have no answer for Steven Jackson....

I think the Rams have the ability to pull off a home upset to start the season....

Its the first game of the season and i think if this was like week 7, the eagles would have this one easy, but bradford is a good young qb and vick looked like shit in preseason. I am from philly and i am a big eagles fan, but on this one i am going to have to say it will be close. I think eagles are going to win from 1 point to 7 points. Im laying off this game a drinking a nice cold beer. But i do like the over in this one

I don't see the Eagles defense being up to full speed yet to shut down the up and coming Rams to the point to where this a blowout. Only 4.5 points is a little low though. I see the Eagles pulling this out in a tough fought game by 6 or so. If I was a betting man I'd guess:
Rams: 24
Eagles: 30

If and only if the  Rams can get to vick,will they have a chance to catch the Eagles --take the Eagles minus the points--not a pushover game but still a win and a cover..
