Henry it's not the Super Bowl....

Again, last week meant shit.  Tomorrow is what matters.

A BIG factor here is the intensity.  Last week dallas came out fired up and obviously ready for bear.  Can they bring "it" back to back weeks?  This will be tight for either side.

How many playoff bound teams did the Eagles beat this year?

    I'll give you a hint..... it's 0

They feasted on shitty competition this year and when they went up against a good team they got beat.  Dallas is a good team.

    Its' called Dallas Denial

We're all guilty of it // a good percentage of us don't like 'em hence we want them to LOSE, hence internal-challenge to put money on a team you don't like, right? Sounds like a heart-felt impulse rather than a head-strong analogy to me. So Philly's coaches preached this"take it easy this week and we'll juke 'em ...watch"!...Please child-This aint the NBA!!!

    AMERICAS TEAM -4!!!!

Can they bring it back to back weeks?  Hell, they brought it the past three weeks in a row.

Exactly.  Philly reminds me an above average-good college team playing in shitty conference.  Yeah, they look good, but it has more to do with how shitty the teams they are playing are than how good they actually are.

I will have to respectfully disagree on your "ASS WHOOPIN WE GAVE THE SAINTS" coment. If you call a 7 point win against a team that was not in full force an ass whoopin, which was also a game that could have gone both ways if it weren't for a dropped TD pass in the endzone, I would really like to know what you call the game vs Eagles last week. "DESTROYED" maybe? They got lucky against the Saints if you ask me.

The boys arre a good team and leading their division, but I trully do not think they have what it takes to go all the way. They will win this game and I do think that the odds of beating a team 3 times in 1 season is more than possible. You would think that the Eagles learned after the first time around on what they need to do but I think it is the Boys that are the ones doing their homework.

Good luck to you this weekend. I hope that they make it to where they will have a rematch against the true takers of the Super Bowl.

PLAYOFFS?,,,,PLAYOFFS,,YA WANNA TALK ABOUT PLAYOFFS? COWBOYS CANT BEAT PHILLY THIS TIME,THESE TEAMS WILL BEAT EACH OTHER UP!WITH EAGLES WINNING,LIMPING IN THE SUPERDOME!  THE WHODATS HAVENT EVEN BEGUN YET!  GOTTA GO THRU THE SUPERDOME TO GET TO THE SUPERBOWLBABY!  BLACK AND GOLD TO THE N,F,L, CHAMPIONSHIP.

    Vegas Ninja says...

    - The Cowboys will be fired up at home.
    - Romo has finally matured and ready to produce in the NFL playoffs.
    - The Eagles played well in the regular season, but their momentum has faded.

The Cowboys will defeat the high flying Eagles with ninja stars.

A BIG factor here is the intensity.  Last week dallas came out fired up and obviously ready for bear.  Can they bring "it" back to back weeks?  This will be tight for either side.

Philli is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 at Dallas . They are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 playoff games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 as road playoff team.

Dallas 1-5 ATS in thier last 6 playof games. 1-4 ATS in their last 5 as a favorite.

Also taking in to consideration the emotional tilt twards Philli as it has shown the majority of teams who are blown out tend to cover the following week at a very high percentage rate. Additionally it is very difficult for division rivals to sweep.

Finally teams such as Dallas which are huge public favorites are always overvalued.

I'm playin this one safe and teasing Philli and the over. Philli avg 31 ppg going in to last week before Dallas shut them out. They are the 5th highest scoring offense in the league. i beleive revnge will play a big role for Philli. Dallas will put up at least 20. I see this being a shoot out. both teams 11-0 and 11-1 respectively on the over when scoring over 20 points.

    (6 pt tease) Philli +10 /Over 38

In another of the three NFL Wildcard games that's also a rematch of games played the final weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles once again at Cowboys Stadium, after lsoing 0-24 in a game that cost them the NFC East title. Although the Cowboys totally dominated throughout, one has to wonder if the Eagles were taking the game seriously or not - doing their best impression of a team resting its starters only they weren't. Which begs the question, Are the Cowboys really that good or are the Eagles really just laying low in waiting for the playoffs?

Trends between these two aren't quite as clear cut as they are between many other teams - showing all that this series has been hard fought and extremely contentious between these two. Dallas has won and covered the last two times out against Philly and has won three of their last four straight-up against them, suggesting recent success that could be the start of a meaningful streak. Over the long term, however, The Eagles have been in the money five out of the last eight times against the Cowboys, a trend if you're looking for one.

One important issue if you're looking at surface, the Cowboys are 8-2 straight-up on artificial turf
    - like there is at new Cowboys stadium - while the Eagles are 9-4 on grass (or painted dirt) and only 2-1 on turf. Dallas is only 3-3 on grass this season themselves straight-up, making the track seem really important in this series. The Cowboys are considerably better on the turf, an advantage they earned with last weekend's big win against the Eagles that could sure help them here.
unimpressive 1-3 against the number - definitely not setting the world on fire there. The Eagles haven't been motivated much by being an underdog of three points or less this season winning only once in four tries, however keep in mind that they're 7-0 ATS in their last seven tries when being a 3.5 - 10 point underdog, that they're 5-0 ATS in their last five playoff games as an underdog, are 5-1 ATS in their last six playoff road games, and that they are an incredible 35-17 ATS in their last 52 games as a road underdog, some very impressive numbers that tilt the trends the Eagles direction.

Although some numbers cut the Cowboy's direction - they're 5-2 ATS in last seven as home favorite, 12-5 ATS in their last 17 against NFC, and 4-1 in their last five games on turf - others really cut the other way - Dallas is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games in January, 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games against the NFC East, 1-4 ATS in their last five playoff games as a favorite, and are only 1-5 ATS in their last six playoff games overall - which really clouds the decision to pick Dallas as a favorite and give away any points. As if those weren't enough facts to help nudge you the Eagles direction, then consider these gems that are about to follow before putting your money down on either.

The Eagles are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings that took place in Dallas against the Cowboys - an impressive trend that has meaning here. Another statistic that should be printed in bold and highlighted is that the road team in this series is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings, which says a lot about these divisional opponents who know each other so well that the home-field advantage is, in essence, no longer a factor. Finally, the fact that the underdog in the series is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these two tilts the scale even a little more towards the Eagles - another in a long laundry list of trends that point their direction.

Although Dallas has no doubt looked good and driven up hopes everywhere in the process this season, there's a reason that the numbers point the way they do. Between these two teams, the Eagles not only are more playoff experienced - having come up with big wins there time and time again - they're poised and ready to strike as well after giving Dallas some false confidence in last Sunday's meaningless contest. Although my heart will be with the Cowboys, my money will be on the more proven Eagles - Take Philly and the four points being given.

" Difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season"
While this theory is being bounced around, not one single post deals with the back to back week rematch factor which increases the difficulty factor of such a task.
As tough as it may seem for Cowboys to duplicate shutout performance, their Defense is simply answering the call to duty at the right place and time.
As far as past stats goes, one should be prepared to throw the past out while capping this game with Dallas having exorcised past december demons.
Yes and yes...Dallas has not won a playoff game since 96
( which does justify Gigante Fans critique of cowboys)
Andy Reid has never lost an opening playoff round...ect ect..
    zzzzzzzzz
As far as last week goes, Dallas was hungrier to win Division title for coach Philips who seems to have progressively fallen out of favor with Jackass Jones but not with players.
Considering recent success of later seeded playoff teams via super bowl n' Eagles historical record on the road, don't think Coach Reid lost any sleep over Philly's last week no show.
HOWEVER, reading the body language of key Eagle players in last week's game, frustration was clearly etched on their faces.
Do believe Eagles are in a shit of trouble with shuffling middle linebacker situation  n' Cowboys Hell bent on avenging  last year's humiliating 44 - 6 season ending game.
Eagles may be capable of putting up 10 quick points trying to keep crowd out of game but to Eagles 10 - 13 pts,Cowboys will put up twice as much.

It seems as though the Eagles have been in the post season much of the decade, though they haven't really gotten far other than the year they went to the Super Bowl with TO on the roster. I think that was probably the best chance McNabb will ever have at winning the Big One. It's been the same crap every year since. To be honest, This year's Eagles isn't as good as that team. Another year, Another season cut short in the playoffs. If the Eagles want any chance to win tomorrow, they should just bench McNabb and play the song "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?"... LET MICHAEL VICK RUN WILD ON DALLAS! Someone tell Andy Reid.. high risk = high reward. I mean he has nothing to lose since they're going to lose tomorrow anyways the way they're going... and that they'll back back again next year so who cares! ::yawn::

Time for me to use my meditation to send some ninja energy to Mike Vick, for he will lead the team to victory if Andy Reid is smart enough to see the true potential within...
    if not, Cowboys roll..

Hey guys (who ever is backing up dallas). I'm sure that each and every one of you have your own way of gambling, but think about it.. do you realllly think that the eagles could not score one point in that game? FALSEEEEEEEEEEEE

the eagle set up a a big trap. they will prove that football is not just a physical game. The cowboys will go in this game not changing a single play thinking that they will beat them like they did last game. BOOOOM The party gets crashed when the eagles pull the triger.

Eagles -1 Take it or leave it
