All that I know is that if you're going to give me that Bears defense with a 3 point cushion, I'll take it anytime.
 
Seems that no one learned their lesson when the Bears pounded the Colts. The Bears defense creates more turnovers than the Philly defense and they get penalized less than the Eagles defense. Plus the Eagles played the Rams, a team that can't score anyway, so their defensive totals are a little inflated.
 
Tampa Bay threw the ball 67 or so times against the Bears because they only got 47 yards on the ground  off of 17 carries for a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. Tampa usually averages 119 yards a game on the ground. It wasn't happenin'. And get this, Tampa Bay is second in the league at yards per rush at 5.5-look it up. 
 
Chicago is 7th in the league on the ground in rushing yards per game, and Philly is 27th. In other words, Philly can't run the ball an dthe Bears can.
 
The Eagles better throw the ball 70 times. But Donovan may not make it through the game if he gets hit too many times. As for Chicago, the Bears quarterbacks are interchangeable, so it doesn't matter who plays anyway. They aren't identified by their quarterback. 5.5 points was too many for the Bears last year.
 
I am taking this game at +3.5 buying a hook and a jab. It's a smart play for the sharp wagerer.

Home underdog on SNF=. The Bears ML and the Bears + 3. No way the Bears lose 2 in a row at home. Philly is beat-up.

Donovan has a bruised sternum and Westbrook is most likely out he did not practice all week or Friday and Buchalter has been getting reps with the first team all week.

Don't look at the stat's, record, trends, who is playing, that's some real nice handicapping brother. I have a game you will enjoy more than capping football then, it is called B.I.N.G.O.

Its primetime football. Home underdog due for a win. With a beat up philly team. With the public all over the eagles. Look at that dead line.  I'll ignore the stats this game and take it to the bank. Thanks for your concerns about my handicapping, brother.

ive bet philly every week so far. time to get off them and bet chicago even though griese burned me last week. bears will be pissed about blowing that game and did you see mcnabb after he came back in the game last week? he looked like a scared little girl and he wont want no part of bears defense this week. i dont really like orton because he reminds me of one of the village people but its still an easy pick for the bears.

Can anybody tell me if Westbrook is playing this week???? this is a major factor in deciding the game.... If he doesn't play I'm taking DA BEARS +3.... but if he is playing I'm taking the EAGLES -3....

Eagles vs. Bears +3 (5 units) - by far my favorite game on the board and it's definitely an against the public play.  Currently on Sports Insights the public is on Philly 78% and on Vegas Insider they are 86%.  The line hasn't really moved since it opened despite the Brian Westbrook injury and the one-sided public money.  Philly had a hard time moving the ball last week once Westbrook left the game, and they'll play another tough defense this week.  While I really don't like betting with Kyle Orton I'll have to hope that he can manage this game and not screw it up.  Matt Forte has been a pleasant surprise for the Bears this year and you can be sure he'll get close to 100 yards.  Might be a slight drizzle tonight in Chicago but nothing to really affect the game.

Westbrook out, McNabb hobbled.  Really weird line with, depending on the book, 60-95% of the money on the Eagles.

philly is a pass first offense, which is why i think they have an advantage.  they only run to keep the opponent honest really.  If tampa can throw like that, you gotta worry about what mcnabb can do.  Westbrook will get his with the passing game opening up lanes... I'm just riding NFC east against anyone.  Plus donovan normally plays well for his hometown... yeah the line is fishy, but you can't always try to outthink line movement... it opened late cuz vegas knew where the public money would be and they wanted to slow that down... that's my take
