This line seemed fishy to me. I looked for any major injuries I didn't know about.  Baltimore at home playing against a team that is just playing for pride now, couldn't even beat the Bungals.

Balt -1   they should win by at least 7

    Baltimore - 21                  Philadelphia - 17
    Ravens -1                   under 39

Ravens at home should get it done against a team that abandoned their running game, and seem to be in disarray.
The Eagles certainly can prove me wrong here.

When the Eagles forget the pass, they get held up at the goal line. When they forget to run, they throw 3 int's. When McNabb doesn't know a game can end in a tie they lose ATS. What will they forget this week? How to win. BALT -1!

this Ravens team has been a money-machine for me this year, and won't stop this week... i have bet every single game they have played, and haven't missed one yet... it's very simple...

when they play a dominant defense, they get killed... when they play a weak defense, they dominate...

Eagles come to town... Ravens go down... Eagles will win this easily!

McNabb doesn't know the rules.  He throws to the wrong team and gets Reid fired.  Ravens dominate at home.

Ravens want some revenge at home after last weeks performance. I don't know why everyone still thinks McNabb is this great quarterback? I've got 2 words for you people - "Drew" and "Bledsoe" - Ravens will pull out one of their typical "low-scoring" affairs - Ravens 13 - Eagles 10

The Eagles couldn't beat the Bengals in a game where a win would have put them right in the mix of the NFC wildcard race... It appears Mcnabb & Co will simply be going thru the motion rest of this season.

The Ravens, on the other hand, need this game to stay one game behind the Steelers (assuming they win this Thur) and in the wildcard hunt.

The Baltimore D and Flacco should rebound back nicely from the dismal loss to the Giants last week.

They will be playing at home and with more heart.

    Ravens -1

The Eagles couldn't beat the Bengals in a game where a win would have put them right in the mix of the NFC wildcard race... It appears Mcnabb & Co will simply be going thru the motion rest of this season.

The Ravens, on the other hand, need this game to stay one game behind the Steelers (assuming they win this Thur) and in the wildcard hunt.

The Baltimore D and Flacco should rebound back nicely from the dismal loss to the Giants last week.

They will be playing at home and with more heart.

    Ravens -1

THIS GAME CAN GO EITHER WAY...

anybody on this thread saying either side will win easily should not be considered...

This is a tough-matchup with 2 good teams....... the Bengals are off a bye and are playing decent football... don't forget they went to the meadowlands and went to overtime with the GIANTS...

Mcnabb had a bad game.... Eagles should have won that game but didn't do what they needed to...

I see them bouncing back this week.... only problem is they are going up against one of the best defenses in the league in their HOME.... that stadium is really tough to play in... it gets loud....

McNabb is a good qb.... he has almost every Eagle Franchise Record... a handful of NFC titles... and a visit to the SUPERBOWL... so what if he didn't know about the TIE.... its not his job to know... its his job to win, and not make a tie.... he is a good qb... and will have a decent game this week.... the thing that scares me is WESTBROOK... the guy is obviously still hurt, and against that RUSH defense on the ROAD I don't know if they will be able to run...

check that, they definitley won't have success on the ground... but McNabb can carry that team to victory....

yeah he threw 3 picks and lost a fumble, but he did throw for 300+ yards... so if he has a good game they can win...

but if not the Ravens will prevail.... but the Eagles D is pretty good as well......

TOO CLOSE TO CALL.... hence the 1 point spread...

Im going to get my popcorn and relax for this one...

    Hope I can HELP

    Hmmm, I see u r easily impressed..

Philys 5 wins came against: StL, Pit (@Phil), SF(pre-singletary), Atl (@Phil) and Sea..

losses against: Dal, Chi, Wash, NYG..

    And tie: Cin

Nothing too spectacular, especially considering they lost important games to NFC East teams.. all 3 teams, better than the Eagles..

While those three teams are making a push for the playoff spot, Eagle fans are already talking about who needs to go.. Reid or Choke-in-the-Spotlight Mcnabb.. Seems like the players only playing for their paycheck now.

The Ravens win-opponents were not great, but their losses came against playoff-bound teams.

Granted, the Eagles are talented enough to beat any team, any time..

But given similarly matched teams,  my money is always gonna be on the team with a better defense, home field advantage, and more emotion.

This is only a 1-2 unit play, anyways.

There are too many good games on the board this week to play this one. I like Baltimore, but Philly could surprise me. If anything, I'd look at the over in this game. But... no play for me.

You made it easy for me because Philly sure isn't in Pitt, Tenn, Indy, or NYG class so what you are saying is that they are in Cincy,  Clev, Mia, Oak, Hou.  So i will take the Ravens.  Thanks

i guess interpretation of information is subjective...

i think i explained it earlier, but the point is that Baltimore can't beat a team with a dominant defense... every team they lost to is solid on defense (Indy was actually healthy on D when they played Balt), and every team they beat is weak on defense...

just my angle, but it has worked to perfection so far (as in, not a single loss yet)... so i see no reason to change anything...

also, the NFC is owning the AFC, and the fact that Philly already beat Pitt (the best team in that division) just confirms the pick, in my opinion...

I think Baltimore might just be the play on this one.  The Eagles who were thought of as a Superbowl contender at the start of the year are now starting to look like a joke.  They run when they should pass and vice versa.  I wonder if Mc Nabb knows if his team loses this week they're done?  I think the Ravens will be fired up after that horrible game they had vs the Giants last week and Flacco will play better as well.  This is a big game for both teams but I like the home team here in a game thats basically for the seasons of both teams.  GL all!
