No way the Raiders will be able to run the ball on Baltimores top ranked run D. That means they will have to rely on Russel trying to beat Ed Reed and Ray Lewis through the air. Not happening.

Raiders don't have a prayer. As for the spread...we shall see.

Both teams are pretty up there in offense

Baltimore ranking 25th in passing and 7th in rushing.

Oakland ranks 27th in passing and 5th in rushing.

Baltimore is ranked 4th in passing defense and 1st in rushing defense.
 
Oakland is ranked 22nd in passing defense and 24th in rushing defense.

Oakland scored 16 points total on below average defenses the Saints and Jets under Tom Cable.  Baltimore scored almost doubled that against 2 top 5 defenses the Titans and Steelers.  I'm going with the Ravens.  GL to all.

that's not east coast.  the saints are in a diferent time zone and i don't count them as part of the system.

regardless, the play is the ravens.  i got on it on monday or tuesday and was able to get it at -7.  i'd probably feel comfortable playing this one as high as -9.

My thoughts exactly.  What we have in this game is one shitty offense going up against a good defense, and another shitty offense going up against a good defense.  The Ravens have played 3 very good games at home, which made me want to lean their way, however the underdog in this series has won straight up 3 of the last 4 meetings.  Either way, it's more than likely going to be a field goal battle all the way, and 36 points is a lot of field goals.

People saying Ravens one of the easiest bets of the week.  Maybe.  Maybe not. 

Of all the games this weekend, this is one where the public is really siding with one team.  They are hammering the Ravens.  The line has been adjusted accordingly.  Vegas really is trying to get some Oakland cash to even it out at this point so I can understand the movement.  They went to do that in the event Oakland lays an egg which they are capable of doing.  HOWEVER, the I think the smart play is Oakland +9 here.  Like someone already mentioned, they already proved they can travel east and win against the bills.  I was on Oakland in that game BTW.  I think they'll prove they can at least hang tough again today.

Please chill kid, spare us the ego.  We have all jhad great streaks and losing streaks also.  I have been plyaong for 27 years, won 9 of the last 11 in the six fuigure range each year.  And I could easily get pounded at any time.

Tell me - how many points do you honestly think the Ravmnes can score?  Their offense blows.  They have a rookie QB.  Oakland has a very solid defense under Ryan.  EWverything in your little rant could be applied to the Ravens as well.  So be careful what you play today.  I am taking the Raiders and the Under, small plays.  My money for the week was made with my 5-0 Saturday.  GLTA.

sports.com canceled a bet on the 2nd quarter of Thursday's Auburn versus West Virginia game when the quarter was near completion.
Player: This bet was clearly on the 2Q and action was taken on it during the commercial between the 1st and 2nd Qtr and the line moved the whole time. Then during the 2Q, after it was obviously going to be a winner, it was cancelled---unacceptable.
sports.com customer service initial response to the player was that the offering was not labeled correctly for a 2nd quarter wager and all bets placed on it were canceled. The player feels as though the sportsbook created a situation where it could not lose since it had the ability to cite the error if the outcome was not to its liking. sports.com is operated by Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) which has canceled winning wagers in the past due to clerical errors."

I'm not sure about the whole story, but they are with sportsbook.com and that isn't good. You have about a 20% chance of receiving a payout from these guys.
