9.5 is alot of points but SD has to beat up on somebody. Unfortunate for the Jets.

I like the Chargers by double digits. Hopefully Cromartie steps up this week after a horrible game in Denver.

Must win for San Diego.  LT gets an extra day to rehab toe.  Favre can't do it all himself.

It's hard to go against Favre on Monday Night.  I'm a chargers fan and watch all their game.  That defense doesn't look good right now.  They haven't been able to put any pressure up front on the QB.  You give that much time to Favre, he will pick you apart.  Merriman out for the season is a big blow.  Jets +9 and OVER 43.

Chargers are my team,but last season they lost 3 in a row . Scoring on offense and defense are close in total points. Both teams lose by 1 point.

Chargers Off. is rated # 5 and Def. # 30

Jets Off. Off. rated # 25 Def. # 8

Chargers should win , but a TD or less

Id never lay that many points with the Chargers,how many times did they disapoint last year with that kind of high spread and in the first game of the season against Carolina,but on the other hand i dont wanna be on the jets either,no bet match

Chargers weren't "beaten" in either of their games.  Carolina got lucky and Denver got luckier.  Merrimen is gone, LT a little banged up but SD is pissed.  SD may win, but I'' take Favre +9.

Easily, San Diego is the most over rated team in the NFL. They are starting to slip down the power rankings and will settle in the middle of the pack where they belong in a matter of a few weeks.
 
I'm not sold on the NY Bretts as being anything more than the second best team in the AFC East but I love them on MNF as a 9 point dog against the Chargers.

Poor favre can't beat up on the almight detroit lions and chicago bears and minnesota vikings.  Most overratted quarter back ever!!  Right behind him steve young Yhe teams they played at the time we so brutal anyone could've racked up those numbers.  Put Jim kelly on green bay at that time of san fran he would've easily put up those numbers.  San Diego will slaughter the jets and favre will add to his interception record :)

More I look at this more I like the Jets. SD has given up alot of yards through the air so far and I can see Mangini loosening the play calling letting Favre take some more control of the game. Especially in a primetime game where Favre usually shines. See the Jets keeping it within the number if not winning outtight(just maybe the way it is going to be for SD early) in a high scoring game. Should be fun to watch with alot of long plays! GL

Chargers are pissed

League will throw in some "gimme" calls favoring SD to make up for the Hocholi debacle.

SD is the play of the day.

Chargers are mad...They are 0-2, had a game taken from them last week, and are looking to make a statement...
 
I love Favre, I love him more on MNF, but he plays on a Jets team who won less then 4 games last year...Granted, they made key additions, O-line, and Defense, but c'mon, Its the Jets and they looked horrible last week playing the Patriots, and BARELY squeaked by the dolphins.
 
They wont win tomorrow, and they will lose by more then 10. There defense wont stop the Run, and Chargers have two guys who could blow it up.

jets will keep it close,their defense isn't bad.they can't afford to have a shootout with chargers so they will try to run the ball and kill the clock to stay with the game,so i like the the jets and under.my prediction will be 24 chargers 17jets
