leaning under 36, should be a defensive battle.

both D's should be able to create turnovers; the difference though is that PIT will convert theirs into TD's the Jets into FG's.

The Jets offense is going to put up 30 points against this swiss cheese defense.... Mark Sanchez is going to have a career game 3 tds 0 ints.... LT and Greene are going to run all over this week d-line and the Jets defense will force 3 turnovers and the JETS will handily win this game....

LOL... I hope I got a few laughs outta that one....

I kinda see this game going exactly how it went for Cincy last week.... although I would be suprised if the Jets scored a td....

probably a 20-3 or 20-6 type game...

oh wait, Nick Folk outside of a dome...

20-3 Steelers.... and that's only if Big Ben comes out in the 4th quarter to protect his nose...

 

This should be the ugly, fight fueled, defensive game of the week - but, I like Breakabookie's score. 20-6, or something like that.

Unless Hines Ward gets tripped running along the sidelines by a Jets trainer - then 14-6

Hopefully, Pittsburgh is close enough to N.Y. that "Fireman Ed" buys a ticket - I love when the camera goes close-up on him to show the utter disgusted look on his face when the Jets lose, it's priceless! 

     The season might be very well over for the Jets. I'm  taking a small lean on the Steelers as I can't fathom how they manage to win year in & out, anymore than I can reason why the Jets suddenly imploded. I do see the Jets putting up some points here, before taking their usual nose dive!

The line keeps coming down in this game.  I don't see why.  Absolutely can't come up with a reason to back Jets here.  Their offense is shot.  Is bad weather expected?

i think bad weather is always expected in PIT in DEC. it is a 4:15 kickoff so it should be nice and cold.

 

JETS JETS JETS  ARE GOING TO LOSE BIG TIME.  THAT BEAT DOWN THEY TOOK AT NE HAS FINISHED THEM OFF AND PROVED THAT THEY ARE TRULY PRETENDERS.  THEY HAD THEIR CHANCE TO RIGHT THE SHIP LAST WEEK AT HOME AGAINST A MEDIOCRE MIAMI TEAM AND LOOKED ABSOLUTELY HORABLE.  TIME FOR THEM TO DRAFT ANOTHER QB SANCHEZ IS NOT THE ANSWER.

Pitt and Pitt team total over. I think Pitt D score at least 7-14 on their own. If Sanchez throws an early pick again, he will become completely unraveled.

The Pitt O is nothing to brag about, but good field position during the game should help out enough.

It is unanimous. Pitt it is and a wise choice by all. Pitt is my #4 pick of the week.

PIT -6: (4units): i'lll go with the Steelers over the Jets. Sanchez seems to have been exposed the last 2 weeks and it won't get any better vs. the Pittsburgh D. and the Defense of Troy. Against good D, the Jets can't move the ball. Score: Steelers 21 - Jets 6

We are witnessing the demise of Ryans big mouth, a lot of luck last year, and overhype by the media. The biggest issue for them is Sanchez. He is the reason you dont start playing qb in the nfl until youre ready. His college coach made it clear that he did not agree with Sanchez' decision, and that he advised him of the low success-rate of quarterbacks who left the college game early to enter the NFL.  Sanchez was the first USC quarterback to turn pro before exhausting his eligibility since Todd Marinovich did so after the 1990 season. We all know how old todd turned out along with tommy maddox the first time around. Do you want your money in the toughest qb in the league's hand or a prima donna! Anyway you get what im saying. Steelers for the large!

Pittsburg at home is really tough , and  Troy Polamalu is healthy and all over the ball again ! He probably gets a Sanchez interception.

You must figure on Pit scoring 39 by themselves because the Jets sure the hell won't get any more than the 6 they got last week at home against the Finns at home.  Of course it could be 34-6 Pit.

throw out the new england game cause it seems nobody can beat them right now , yes the jets have had the're troubles lately but the steelers have been doing it all year with smoke and mirrors and with polamalu OUT this makes a huge difference give me the jets to show up here and at least keep this within striking distance i see a very tight game jets + the 6.5 is my play

Heard the jets coaching staff hired the ROCKETTES to stand on the sidelines this week ---this is the only way they can win---steelers in a tight one
