What a great matchup! The New York Jets are playing balanced ball on both sides. They have some super talent and some serious confidence after the shocker in New England. I say they have gone as far as they can go though. They were mighty emotional after the win. Not like they have been there before.

The Steelers just find a way each time the game is on the line. They were edged out late by the JETS early this season. That game was without Troy.

Should be close. The Jets will be forced to throw since Pittsburgh is one of the best every year against the run.

Can Dirty Sanchez stay hot against a better rested Steelers? Maybe, but the extra week without a bye and the constant travel has to play a role here.

    Pittsburgh - 3 & Over 38 for me.

This is the Steelers year. They win & cover. They also win the SB.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

I'll likely have a large chunk of change on the Steelers only laying 3....

First of all, I expect the Packers to be raising the Lombardi Trophy, at the end of this years' SB. I also expect the Steelers to be the other team. I have some serious reservations about Pittsburgh going any further in wins  (at least). The N Y Jets WILL NOT cover this game PERIOD! The team just played their SB, and the season for them is officially over.

    PITTSBURGH  - 3

    OVER 38 (weather permitting)

8.5.... I knew that was an insult but I can't believe what I saw tonight....

I'm not betting my team because I don't want to jinx them at this point....

but If I was betting this game....

3.5 all day (buying the hook of course)

I liked Pitts in the last game but in this game, I don't think the momentum carried by the Jets "D" will not allow a late miracle by Rothlisberger. If Pitt can score early in this one, they may have a chance. On the other side of the ball, the Steel Curtain needs to be ready for a more balanced attack. Jets use more screens than the Ravens. Jets won't try to play hard nose football against Pitt's Rush"D". Rex Ryan will outdo Tomlin and I expect Jets to get to their head all week.

    Early Lean is Jets SU.

Jets definitely have the better Offensive line. They are giving Sanchez the time to throw and allow very few sacks and hits whereas the Steelers "O" line allows Big Ben to get Sacked recorded and thats not counting the ones that he escapes from. Pressure gets to Ben for sure. It comes down to Defense and protecting your QB. Cromarti and Revis is finally showing up for the Jets.

Jets win this one Straight Up

    Jets 24-27
    Pitt 10-13

The Steelers have NEVER lost twice in a year to the same team at home..........the Steelers will make the Jets pass the ball.........Sanchez will make some BIG mistakes as a result........this was a tight game last time WITHOUT Troy, he's a difference maker, so he'll make THE difference here........Jets punter is strugglin' BIG TIME in these playoffs, I don't know what's up with him, so great during the year.....and Nick Folk will have every opportunity to choke and easy kick wide left at Heinz Field.........home field advantage just toooo much for the Jets to overcome right here........I will be 5 units on the Steelers -3 as soon as my bookie posts it.........good luck guys

Steeler fan here, and yes, they have lost 2 at home to the same team.  JAX in Tomlin's first year.  I was there.   Although I dont expect it to happen twice.  Steelers -3

Steelers outplayed NY last time, Miller dropping the potential game winner in the end zone. Past 10 years, 5 visits to the AFC championship, 2 SuperBowls. The jets wont be playing in a stadium with silent fans this time ask LT. History, experienced big game winning players in the greatest NFL town ever.THE best defense year in and year out, and Big Ben Rothlisberger its more than stats he is simply the BEST big game QB in the NFL he never quits he makes the plays. Steelers are about TEAM!

if u watched pitts last game with balti, troy was missing tackles n running around like he was lost. he is still bothered by his injury. on the offense of side, pitts looked horrible. they couldnt move the ball until the 3rd. if this jets team could shut out tom brady til the 3rd, they will certainly shut down BEN. i see a close game but i think the jets win at the end. no one is giving the JETS credit but this is the same team who went to the AFC ship last YEAR!

Steeler's defense makes the difference.  Look for Troy to be all over the field.  On a close match-up, it is hard to sweep during two games during the season.

    Steelers -3 & over 43.5
