Needless to say, Colts should be gearing towards an offensive,
all out Blitzkrieg during first 2 quarters, forcing Jets into catch up mode where they will be less likely to play well.
If Colts manage to get a 13 pt lead at halftime,it could be all over
for Gangreen.Hence a good bet from BIG DADDY H ,providing Jets can't rattle Peyton, which will be difficult to do,considering he's only been sacked 10 times this year.
Jets should have some success via run however Colts are much better equipped at stopping the run than SD + Peyton is by far
the more experienced QB over Rivers. He and Favre are THE best
at reading and acting upon various defensive schemes.
For Jets to win, name of the game remains the same with Clock control and field positioning being indispensable.
Tough to beat Indy with Jets estimated score of 13 - 16 pts
when Peyton only needs 1/4 time to duplicate same numbers.
He is by far THE best when it comes to the hurry up offense and would not be surprised to see Colts gettin' into this mode mode, catchin' Jets off guard. In Recent game vs NY,if not for overall team discord regarding roll over strategy, keeping players healthy for the long run,Indy could of easily been up by 10 or more pts at half time with Manning at helm.
That roll over strategy will pay off handsomely,as it did vs. Ravens with Colts winning by 13.It's been quite a story for Rex n' rookie Sanchez, would Love to see Jets win, however order seems too tall with Colts in all out Payback mode.
Teasin' it to Colts - 1 Vikes + 10 .5

COLTS 26 JETS 13

jsmittyyou6, Let me see if I can explain this so you'll be able to understand it and apparently it won't be easy. If you had been following along with some of the other guy's who post here, you would have noticed that some guy's were claiming the Ravens would win straight up vs. the Colts. Being a Colts fan, why would I give anyone points when I have guy's claiming that a Raven straight up victory is on it's way. Only a idiot would give points when he didn't have to.............jesus moron ! Maybe your 2nd post will reflect some brains, or at the very least know the facts before butting in.

Get that nonsense outta here, unless you want to exchange PayPal info or fund my online wagering account. Laugh.

You're a 'Johnny-Come-Lately' that will very likely sign on with yet another name following this game.

The Jets were winning with a cushion even when Peyton was still in the game those four weeks ago. The result will be no different this weekend. The Addai, M Hart, and D Brown trio won't find a running game to establish. Wild-Card Jets have had a long, fruitless post-season history since Super Bowl III. That's a barren, dreadful era for any team - especially a New York franchise.

A stifling effort once more: NY Jets 20 Indianapolis 17

TauntedStreet, I'm sorry to hear I missed your post. I don't spend all day on the computer like some guy's obviously do, and besides my work schedule is such that I really never can plan to just sit down and play at the computer. Having said that and seeing you are takin the Jets straight up, are we on for the weekend ? I mean you said it, Jets 20, Indy 17. Sounds like a lot of hot air to me. So what's it gonna be ? We gotta bet or not ? This time I'll tell ya in advance that I will be leaving for the game on Saturday morning. Which means I won't be checking posts after Friday afternoon. As for payment ( that you'll owe me ), I will only do money orders. So if you decide to back up your talk, then we can exchange mailing address'. If you are reconsidering your prediction, then I think it's you who might be the " Johhny- Come -Lately " and realize that the Jets aren't  who you think they are when there's money on the line! I await your repsonse, but Friday after 2:00 p.m. (est ) will be too late. In the meantime I will check once a day to see if your all talk or you actually have $100 your willing to bet !

I have to say that this is a hard game to cap or put a finger on who has the edge. It looks as if the Colts are the clear favorites as far as the spread says but with what the NYJets have done in the last 5 weeks is commendable. I have been winning on them and I am actually taking an early lean on the Colts on this game. I personally dont think that the Jets have enough Offensive weapons to keep up with the Colts, but they do have a great "D" no doubt.

This is by far the biggest game that Mark Sanchez has ever been in including all the Bowl games he has been in. This game I think is where the ball stops for the Jets. You are correct by saying that the Colts are the better team in every aspect except for the defense. Manning and the coaching staff has got an answer for every type of defense there is, they just have to figure it out and I think once they do and jump on the lead, it will be tough to physically and mentally get the offense to move and move fast.

[/QuoteThanks for responding 808. Since your a Saints fan, I'm hoping we can do a lillte side wager action when we play you in the super bowl. I'll be at the AFC Championship game Sunday ( 20 yd. line , row 3 , upper deck ). To watch my Colts walk over the Jets. In the meantime I am pulling for the Saints as well. These two teams have been number 1 & 2 all year long in the rankings and will make for a great super bowl game. Let me know about that side wager offer. The bet is a straight up victory, with the loser paying by money order to the tune of $100.

If so, then how about that side wager I 've been tossing out there to those that think like you do. $100, payable via money order, on a straight up win . Or are you just talking the talk ? I need to know by Friday 2:00pm. After that I'll be at work, then leaving for Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday morning. So what's it gonna be jetsmets84 ?

'ColtPower', the operative term was "ample time"; meaning you didn't need to check back, to the rate of say, 808PickyBoy. You put the bet out there, then never resurfaced. If nothing else, to cash in! Laugh. No lost opportunity this week. Send a message on here. (Click my name) and we can go from there.

Straight up, indeed. No spread. No excuses.

By 'Johnny-Come-Lately' (review that expression), I'm meaning you're one of the newbies, signing on in November 2009, and are severely unproven for such smack talk. . .err, writing as it were. Yet, I'm using the term 'writing' loosely with your post below, insulting a fellow member that perhaps likes to hang onto his money when insisting on the spread.

Note: You don't need an apostrophe for plural on 'guys'. See that? It can be GUYS, in lieu of your effort of "guy's". Second, a possessive 'its' also NEVER needs an apostrophe, only the attribuitive. Such as: "Its native habitat is the rain forest". Brush on these, especially when you're sending off slandering missives to others piping in, such as "idiot".

Last, money orders are no less shady than third-party, out-of-state payroll checks. To fulfill our wager, we're talking a postal money order, or? Send details. That said, with what's written above, it ought to double your satisfaction in beating me. In a parallel universe, sure. Not this weekend. <Take notice of the lack of label or libel> Civil, gents wager.

I clicked your name but I guess you'll have to accept me as your "friend ", before we can finalize anything. A postal money order is ok by me. Now how do I send you my mailing address, so you can send me payment ?

Straight up, indeed. No spread. No excuses.

I clicked your name but I guess you'll have to accept me as your "friend ", before we can finalize anything. A postal money order is ok by me. Now how do I send you my mailing address, so you can send me payment ?

Even tho i'm taking the Jets with the points, you know their last game was a 'lay down' game by the Colts, so you can't really use that to justify a Jet win? As long as Sanchez protects the ball, their running game and D should keep it close. With Manning's quick release and O-line having only 13 sacks all year, i'll will be their biggest challenge. What pulls it over for me is the Jets' Defensive Hog index vs. Indy's... but that's just me.

Be lookin forward to our side bro. GL this weekend. I too say that the train stops here for the Jets. They have made me some money but I think that fatigue, experience, and simply outplayed all day will be the factor.

The unexpected happened last weekend , when Kaeding missed two very makeable field goals. To hang your hat on that happening again isn't a money maker. Now if you'd like to take me up on my offer of you siding with a Jets straight up win....then were in business !
